A fishing system includes a container having a cavity sized to pass a jig line therethrough and to store the jig line and fasteners for releasably connecting the container to a fishing rod. The fasteners are configured to secure ends of the jig line to an exterior of the container.

A hook caddy that can be coupled to a fishing rod to provide a safe and convenient place to store fish hooks while fishing, comprising a body with a plurality of holes through it, each hole for securely holding a respective hook inserted therethrough, and a coupling element to couple the body to a fishing rod. In an embodiment, the coupling element includes an opening in the side of the body through which a fishing rod can pass, into a tubular hole having a circular cross section for coupling the body to the fishing rod. In an embodiment, a strip of hook and loop material may be used to more securely couple the hook caddy to the fishing rod.

A fishing line holding device includes a body and a retention formation on the body which is configured to be engaged with a portion of a fishing line so that the fishing line is thereby anchored to the retention formation. The retention formation may include a section which projects from the body and around which, in use, a portion of the fishing line is looped, and a restraining formation on the section which prevents the looped fishing line from being moved off the section.

A hook guard is provided that is attachable with or integrally formed with a fishing rod. The hook guard includes at least one opening through which a fishing hook may be received and to which the fishing hook may be coupled. The hook guard provides a secure and safe location on a fishing rod where the fishing hook cannot snag or otherwise damage objects or people.

A fishing pole is disclosed including a component having integral therewith a fishhook and line holder. The fishhook and line holder has a hook keeper element with a terminal end displaced from a surface of the component and configured to form a space that receives a portion of a fishhook gripping the hook keeper element. The holder also has a line keeper element extending outward from the hook keeper element. The line keeper element includes a groove configured to retain a free end portion of a fishing line extending from a reel mounted to the pole. An elastic retention member seated in the groove secures the free end portion therein, holding this portion immovable in place. The fishhook and line holder may be a separate module that is attached to a section of a conventional fishing pole.

An apparatus to store a fishing sinker on a fishing rod, having a tube with an open top and an open bottom, said tube having a vertical opening formed from said top to said bottom, a bottom cap with an opening formed therein, said opening configured to match said vertical opening, said bottom cap affixed to said open bottom of said tube, an attachment device to mount said tube to the fishing pole, and, thus, functions to provide a way to keep heavy fishing sinkers secured to the pole when not in use, to prevent personal injury, equipment damage, or boat damage.

Provided is a fishing rod which includes a rod body, a hooking member, and a reel base. A fishing line with a fish hook connected to an end thereof is wound around the rod body, the reel base is connected to a rear end of the rod body, and the hooking member is sleeved on the rod body and is located at a front end of the reel base. The hooking member is provided with a hooking hole in which the fish hook is hooked. Compared with the prior art, in the present disclosure, a hooking hole is provided on hooking member, so that the fish hook can be hooked in the hooking hole after the fishing, in order to avoid the fish hook from scratching the rod body which affects the aesthetics of the fishing rod and causes wear to the fish hook, thereby improving user experience.

An item holder is adapted for mounting onto a post. The item holder has a hemicylindrical body that conforms to the shape of a post. An assembly of two cylinders and one elastic cord secures the body to the post.

The first half and the second half each have a cavity for retaining one or more hooks of a fishing lure. The first half and the second half each have a sloped end face to facilitate removal of the hook and the fishing lure from the cover. Hooks and clips are provided for securing the cover to a fishing pole.
