Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide a smoking article filter having a flavoring agent uniformly distributed in the smoking article filter, which is in a solid state at room temperature and includes at least one natural wax and a flavoring component soaked into the at least one natural wax.

A tobacco smoke filter or filter element comprising: a longitudinally extending core which includes first and second longitudinally extending rods of tobacco smoke filtering material, wherein the first rod of tobacco smoke filtering material is distanced longitudinally from the second rod of tobacco smoke filtering material; a wrapper engaged around the first and second longitudinally extending rods such that the wrapper defines a cavity between the first and second rods of tobacco smoke filtering material; and at least one receptacle for an additive located in the cavity, wherein the maximum width or diameter of the receptacle for an additive is less than half the maximum diameter of the cavity and the void space remaining in the cavity is greater than 50% of the volume of the cavity, the receptacle being free to move within the cavity.

The disclosure relates to delivery systems including aerosol-generating material and a cooling agent WS-3 in an amount sufficient to provide a cooling effect. In particular, the disclosure relates to delivery systems that do not provide any clearly noticeable smell or taste other than one of tobacco.

Disclosed is a cigarette filter including: natural plant based granules composed of a natural plant material and a binder; and a filter portion to accommodate therein the natural plant based granules, in which the binder is hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose (HPMC), and a weight ratio of the natural plant material and the binder is in a range of 95 to 99%:5 to 1%. The filter using technology for reducing the smell of tobacco smoke on hands, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a filter unit for filtering tobacco smoke, the filter unit being coupled to a tobacco shred; and filter-wrapping paper for wrapping the filter unit. The filter unit or the filter-wrapping paper may contain a material for reducing the smell of tobacco smoke. According to the embodiment of the present invention, green tea extracts containing catechin or other materials for reducing the smell of tobacco smoke, e.g. citric acids, glycerols, tannic acids and the like can be added to a tobacco filter to remove the smell from tobacco smoke generated during smoking, thus significantly lowering the strength of the smell of tobacco smoke on the hands of a smoker as compared to conventional tobacco filters.

A filter for sorption of components of tobacco smoke which are harmful to health comprises ceramic particles bonded to form a porous structure (12). In order to avoid contamination within a short period of time even when the filter is not properly disposed of, and without causing a loss in sorption or in the smoking sensation, the filter has decreasing water solubility from a tobacco-side portion (1) to an opposite mouth-side portion (2).

A filling unit, configured to fill a succession of tubular wrappers of the tobacco industry. The tubular wrappers extend along a main axis of extension and internally define respective containment chambers adapted to contain a filling material of the tobacco industry and have an access opening on at least one of its ends for access to the containment chamber. The present disclosure concerns a device for forming a multi-flavor composite structure filter rod in one step, including the following components: a tow transmission belt, a tow guiding horn-shaped mouth, a tow assembly paper collection groove, a cigarette lap adhesive applying device and multi-flavor adding devices. According to shapes and types of flavors, the multi-flavor adding devices are arranged in different sections to obtain one-step formation of the multi-flavor composite structure filter rods. The present disclosure also discloses a one-step method of forming the multi-flavor composite structure filter rod using the one-step forming device.
