Snore blocking helmet
A snore blocking helmet for comfortably minimizing snore impact on others includes a helmet body having a front portion, a rear portion, a right portion, a left portion, a top portion and a bottom perimeter forming an inside. The front portion has a visor aperture and a plurality of vent apertures extending through to the inside. A visor is rotatably coupled to the helmet body to cover and alternatively uncover the visor aperture. A plurality of fans is coupled within the inside adjacent the plurality of vent apertures. A control housing is coupled through the front portion. A plurality of controls is coupled to the control housing and is in operational communication with the plurality of fans. A power source is coupled to the control housing and is in operational communication each of the plurality of controls and the plurality of fans.
Hingeplate mechanism
A closed face motorcycle helmet includes a shell with an eyeport and a shield attached for hinged or pivoted motion between a closed or lowered position covering and sealing the eyeport and an open position or raised position displaced above the eyeport. A hinge plate is attached to the shell on each side and includes a moving pivot socket into which a hub of the shield is rotatably disposed for hinged movement and rearward movement of the shield between the raised and lowered positions.
METHOD AND NOTCH REFLECTOR PROJECTION SYSTEM
One variation of a system for serving augmented visual content to a user includes: a visor including a substrate of a transparent material and a reflective coating applied across the substrate, configured to selectively reflect visible light within a first reflection channel, and configured to transmit wavelengths of visible light outside of the first reflection channel, wherein the first reflection channel spans a first band of wavelengths; a projection system configured to project visual content in a first output channel onto an interior surface of the visor, the first output channel including a first peak-power wavelength of visible light within the first reflection channel and excluding wavelengths of visible light outside the first reflection channel; and a support structure configured to locate the visor on the user's head with the visor in a field of view of the user and configured to locate the projection system relative to the visor.
In-moulded helmet with pivotable shield
A helmet contains a convex, hard outer shell, a concave, impact-dissipating inner layer, a shield, and a shield cover. The concave, impact-dissipating inner layer is fitted to the convex, hard outer shell and contains a front portion having a shield indentation, a back portion, a top portion a right side portion, and a left side portion. The left side portion is opposite the right side portion. The shield is pivotably attached to the helmet via a fulcrum and pivots about the fulcrum. The shield also partially occludes the shield indentation. The shield cover is fixably attached to the helmet and at least partially occludes the front portion. The shield cover also at least partially occludes the shield.
Mandible guard adjustment system
Methods and devices for adjusting the position of a mandible guard relative to a helmet are disclosed. Adjustment of the mandible guard may be performed by a user while the user is wearing the helmet and/or without the use of tools. A mandible guard adjustment system may be combined with an attachment system for attaching and removing the mandible guard to a helmet.
Helmet Mounted Visor
A helmet mounted visor includes a lens that may be configured to extend across substantially all of a user's face. The helmet mounted visor may include a pair of mount arms coupled to the lens and each configured to releaseably mount to a mount attached to a helmet. The pair of mount arms may each including first, second and third portions. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the second portion about a first axis. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the third portion about a second axis. The second axis may be generally perpendicular to the first axis. A locking mechanism may be provided and configured to selectively retain the first portion relative to the second portion in and between a use position where the lens is positioned in front of the user's face and a stowage position where the lens is positioned proximate the top of the helmet.
Brim Shade and Hinge
A brim shade has a shade element, a clip, and a hinge that joins the shade element and the clip to make the brim shade. The shade element and the hinge combine to create a shade that does not allow the light to get past the brim shade. The brim shade can be adjusted through 360 degree rotation and along the side of a hat to provide protection to the wearer.
Helmet with visor
Helmet with visor having a shell structure shaped is to at least partly cover the user's head. The visor is hinged to the opposite sides of the shell and mobile with respect to the shell between a raised position and a lowered position where it provides a protective extension of the helmet at the eyes of the user. The visor is manually switchable from the raised and lowered positions by using a magnetic coupling between the visor and the shell which guides and keeps the visor stable in the raised and lowered position and in a plurality of intermediate positions.
Helmet shield opening mechanism and helmet with changeable jaw guard equipped with the same
A helmet shield opening mechanism is provided, wherein first and second constraint tracks are provided on at least one support leg of a shield jaw guard, and a driver element is configured to come into contact with and drive the two tracks, so that the helmet has forced and controlled modes relative to the opening action and process of the helmet body. On one hand, the operational reliability and flexibility of the shield opening mechanism can be improved; on the other hand, the shield is opened smoothly without collision, thus improving the wearing comfort of the helmet. Further, a helmet with changeable jaw guard equipped with the helmet shield opening mechanism can plan the opening process of the shield flexibly to adapt to states of the jaw guard at different operation positions, thereby greatly reducing the chances of collision between the jaw guard and the shield.
Electronic motorcycle helmet
An electronic motorcycle helmet. The electronic motorcycle helmet includes a helmet having an aperture therein that can receive a head therethrough. A visor is disposed on a front side of the helmet and a display is disposed on an interior surface of the visor. A microprocessor, including a logic that receives a command input directed to one of a plurality of subsystems, toggles the subsystem between an activated state and a deactivated state, and displays a status window on the display corresponding to the subsystem. The plurality of subsystems includes a plurality of cameras disposed about the helmet, wherein each of the cameras is operably connected to the display and can apply a low-light filter for low-light conditions. Other subsystems include a wireless transmitter to wirelessly communicate with an external device, a GPS system, and a battery disposed at a lower edge of the rear side.
