HAIR COLORING KIT AND METHODS OF USE AND DOING BUSINESS

A hair color retouch kit, components of the kit, and methods of use and doing business. The kit can include one or more mixing containers. In one embodiment, a mixing container provides a colorant compartment for sealingly or separately containing a custom hair coloring formulation and peroxide compartment for sealingly or separately containing peroxide. The mixing container(s) can be used by a professional hair colorist to provide a hair coloring client with custom hair coloring formulation and peroxide that can be mixed and applied by or for the client to hair regrowth that occurs after a hair coloring session with the professional. The kit can provide other components as desired, such as a mixing spatula, an applicator brush, and instructions for example. The kit can be packaged in attractive and efficient packaging, include indicia identifying the source of the kit, and be customized to promote the colorist, salon, or other entity.

Formula delivery device

A formula delivery system can be used in conjunction with hair and scalp treatment appliances to supply a hair treatment formulation to the appliance. In one aspect, the formula delivery system delivers hair coloring formulation to the appliance. Formula delivery systems of the present disclosure generally include at least one fluid container configured to retain a volume of formulation for delivery of the formulation to a hair coloring appliance. In this regard, the formula delivery system may be configured to removably couple to an inlet member of the appliance that allows the appliance to draw the formulation from the fluid container for use within the appliance.

Hair treatment compositions, systems, devices and methods

A hair treatment kit comprises a hair treatment composition selected from the group of semi-permanent oxidative and/or direct dye hair colorant compositions, hair bleaching compositions, highlighting compositions, and combinations thereof, a reservoir for holding the temporary hair treatment composition, and an applicator fluidly connected to the reservoir for selectively applying the hair treatment composition to a targeted area of hair. Methods of applying the hair treatment composition comprise selectively engaging the applicator with a targeted area of hair, leaving the hair treatment composition in the targeted area for a time period, washing the hair treatment composition out of the targeted area, closing the reservoir to preserve remaining hair treatment composition for later use, and reapplying the hair treatment composition to the targeted area.

An improved hair coloring device is a lightweight cylindrical unit measuring approximately four to five inches (4″-5″) in length, with a slightly curved handle to provide a comfortable, ergonomic grip. Hair dye composition and method of dyeing hair that targets only at least one grey part using a permanent hair dye component comprising a specific volume percentage of a particulate pigment to permanent hair dye component. The purpose of some embodiments of the invention is to delay the need for women to dye their hair in full. At least one pigment particle (about 0.0770 ml or about 1/64th of a teaspoon) may be added to a bottle of 71 ml of permanent hair dye, which allows the permanent hair dye composition to become visible and allows for more accuracy during application. Using small quantities of 5 cc per application (hair dye: 2.5 ml; developer: 2.5 ml) reduces the amount of dye applied to needless areas of the hair. The use of a make-up sponge stick allows for better accuracy. The composition is multi-use, and provides for 28 applications (71 ml bottle of dye and 71 ml of developer), and will save users time and money. All these characteristics provide for a hair dye composition that significantly reduces the amount of harmful chemicals applied to users' hair.
