In one aspect the invention is arranged to provide a hair treatment apparatus adapted to reduce the temperature of hair. This apparatus includes at least one thermal energy storage core arranged to draw heat out of hair wherein said at least one thermal energy storage core is arranged to cool hair to a temperature below 0° Celsius.

A device for treating at least one lock of hair, comprising: —at least one device (20) for applying mechanical stress to the hair, having a reception surface intended to receive the lock of hair, this surface being greater in width L in a direction perpendicular to said lock, —a microwave-proof chamber which is configured so as to receive the mechanical-stress-application device (20) and at least one part of the hair to be treated, —a microwave emission antenna (30) placed inside the chamber, this antenna extending axially over a distance D at least equal to L/2.

A hair styling device for styling curly or wavy hair. The hair styling device includes a body and a plurality of tines extending from a proximate end of the body, wherein each of the plurality of tines have a same length as measured from a proximal end to an opposing distal end of a tine. The tines are rigid and non-flexible to facilitate the manipulation and styling of curly hair. In some embodiments, the tines are angled such that the proximal end of the tine extends from a first side of the body and the distal end of the tine is disposed on a second side of the body, wherein the first side and second side are opposite one another. In other embodiments, the tines include an arcuate configuration. The configuration of the tines allows for various manipulation of hair to provide differently styled curls or wavy features.

A hair drying and styling system includes a hair styling tool assembly having a handle, a split barrel having, a first-member, and a second-member, a detachable brush attachment, a power source, a control panel, and a hair dryer. The device provides a hair styling tool with detachable brush attachments which may be used for drying hair. The detachable brush attachments may be rotatable for drying with the hair dryer and once detached provides a hair curler which may be left in the hair.

A hair styling device for styling curly or wavy hair. An adjustable diameter mechanism includes a plurality of cylinder portions, each of the cylinder portions comprising an arcuate portion of a cylinder and extending along an arc of less than or about 120 degrees of a 360 degree circle and having an inner side and an outer side. A roller hairbrush that is separable into two parts: a hairbrush roller and a handle. The hairbrush roller has a roller body along which a plurality of bristles is oriented. Further, an ejection mechanism is housed in the roller body and is used to disengage the handle from the roller body. An engagement shaft of the handle is positioned into a receiving volume of the hairbrush roller. A plurality of lateral extrusions of the engagement shaft is slotted into a plurality of lateral channels of the receiving volume, wherein the handle is unable to rotate within the roller body. The handle includes a gripping shaft below the engagement shaft for holding the handle. Furthermore, a locking mechanism is integrated into the gripping shaft and the engagement shaft, wherein the locking mechanism secures the handle to the hairbrush roller.

A hair drying and styling system includes a hair styling tool assembly having a handle, a split barrel having, a first-member, and a second-member, a detachable brush attachment, a power source, a control panel, and a hair dryer. The device provides a hair styling tool with detachable brush attachments which may be used for drying hair. The detachable brush attachments may be rotatable for drying with the hair dryer and once detached provides a hair curler which may be left in the hair.
