DREADLOCK INTERLOCKING TOOL
A dreadlock interlocking tool is described. The dreadlock interlocking tool can comprise four principal elements, including: lock clamp, anti-snag guard; guide rod; and anti-scratch guard. The dreadlock interlocking tool is designed to have a principally linear shape, in order to grasp the tip of the dreadlock such that the body of the dreadlock is in-line with the tool. Thus, the tool can provide ease of use when pulling the body of the dreadlock through the root of the dreadlock during interlocking. The linear structure of the tool, and the provided safety features, such as the anti-snag guard and anti-scratch guard, allow for interlocking without unintentional twisting, snagging and/or damaging the scalp.
Hairdress-shaping device, use of said hairdress-shaping device for shaping of hairdresses, as well as method for shaping of a hairdress by means of the hairdress-shaping device
The invention relates to a device for shaping and styling the hairs, and specifically for forming a so-called ponytail, as well as to the use of the device in accordance with the invention for shaping and styling hairs and forming a hair-style, and a method for forming a hairstyle, and more specifically, a pony tail.
The hairstyling device (1) in accordance with the invention particularly serves for shaping a so-called ponytail, and has an essentially rotationally symmetrical base body (10), the base body being provided with an attachment surface (20) at a front surface thereof, the attachment surface being meant for mounting over the head of a person to be hair-dressed. Further, the device includes a shaft (30), having longitudinal grooves (40) provided on its surface. The longitudinal grooves (40) extend over the surface in such a manner that at least one component of their extension direction lies in the longitudinal direction (11) of the base body (10). Further, the shaft is formed concavely in its longitudinal section, on a sectionalized basis.
METHOD OF AND APPARATUS FOR HAIRDRESSING
The present invention provides an improved method of hairdressing for dreadlocks, the results of which are long lasting without the requirement of extensive and costly maintenance. The method curls locks internally using a length of thread (14) that is inserted inside each dreadlock (16) using a needle-like device (12) and attached to the dreadlock at two or more attachment points (18, 20). The thread (14) is tensioned between the two or more points (18, 20) so as to compress the hair between said points, thereby shortening the length of the dreadlock (16). This compression also allows for any weak points in the locks (16) to be condensed and strengthened. If enough shortening is applied, the dreadlock (16) will reach a point at which it cannot compress any further and will consequently curl or kink. The more tension applied, the more the dreadlock (16) will curl or kink. Such an effect will last as long as the thread remains inside the dreadlock (16), and will not be spoilt from every day wear or water exposure.
Portable Locking Styling and Designing Hair Beading Apparatus
A portable locking, styling and designing, hair beading apparatus with a length of lacing. The apparatus holds a plurality of beads without tangling and knotting. Attaches to a table top or wall for example; with a suction cup, has a long-term locking mechanism making the filled apparatus portable using the loop, button and suction cup. Has a short-term locking mechanism using the loop and hook, for intermittent breaks while in use. Also has a cord lock to control the position of beads along the length of the lacing, keeping the beads within easy reach to transfer to the braid.
Lock Weaving Tool
A hair lock weaving tool comprises a body having a first end and a second end. A curved hook portion is formed at the first end and a hair receiving portion is formed at the second end that includes a hole for receiving hair. The curved hook portion has a variable width and a variable thickness, wherein the width progressively increases from an interface between the curved hook portion and the hair receiving portion to an intermediate point and then the width progressively decreases in a direction toward and to a pointed end of the curved hook portion that defines the first end of the body. The hair receiving portion has a bilobate configuration with a first lobe that defines one end of the hole and a second lobe that defines an opposite end of the hole, with a narrowed waist defined between the first lobe and the second lobe.
HAIR CURLER DEVICE, KIT, AND METHOD
A hair curling device. The hair curling device includes a base and a pair of legs. The base includes an endless inner edge forming an opening through the base. The pair of legs extend vertically upward from the base in the same direction. A gap is formed in between the pair of legs and the pair of legs are substantially parallel relative to one another.
HAIR LOCKING TOOL CHARM
A hair locking tool charm has an elongated shaft with a longitudinal channel. The shaft has a cylindrical first end and a tapered second end. The channel has a continuous sidewall parallel to a discontinuous sidewall. The discontinuous sidewall includes two overlapping members with an interspace between. The channel tapers to a narrow end near the first end of the shaft. A method of locking hair with the tool charm includes putting hair in the interspace, manipulating the hair into the narrow end of the channel, and guiding the hair around the first end into a v-shaped notch. Insert the tapered end into a lock or braid, pull the tool charm through, and release the hair from the notch and the channel. When not in use, the tool charm may be worn as an adornment.
System, apparatus and method for threading a beader tool with hair beads
A shaft, apparatus, and method for threading a beader tool with hair beads are disclosed. In one embodiment of the apparatus, multiple silos form an array with each silo being sized to allow the passage of a beader tool while preventing hair beads from escaping. The interior of each silo is tailored to accommodate a stack of hair beads, with the height of the silos being sufficient to house at least the shaft of the beader tool. A support structure secures the array of silos in an upward orientation. This support structure takes the form of a box, which defines a chamber beneath the array of silos. The chamber is designed with a height that can accommodate at least a loop of the beader tool and includes a drawer for additional utility. This apparatus presents a practical and innovative solution for simplifying the process of threading hair beads.
