Mailbox with telescoping drawer
A mailbox having a housing, floor, mail receptacle, front door and traveling rod. The mail receptacle is situated on top of a sliding rail assembly affixed to the floor. A first end of the traveling rod is pivotally connected to a first horizontal bar that is secured to a rear portion of the sliding rail assembly. Two first support members are pivotally connected to the right and left ends of the first horizontal bar. The first support members are also pivotally connected to two second support members that extend from the rear end of the mailbox to the front door inside of the housing. A second end of the traveling rod is attached to a shaft, and a wheel bearing is situated on either end of the shaft. A receiving bracket attached to the rear wall of the mail receptacle is configured to receive the wheel bearings and shaft.
Safe "4U'" Mailbox
A security mailbox system known as the “Safe “4U” Mailbox”, fully enclosed mailbox which is constructed from some sort of plastic, metal, fabricated material, or some sort of environmentally friendly material. The “Safe “4U” Mailbox” is easy to install and environmentally friendly, the mailbox includes chambers for incoming mail being delivered and pick-up for outgoing mail; a slot for newspapers/advertisements on side of mailbox. Incoming mail chamber is designed for mail to go into secure basket for pick-up from rear by homeowner. Outgoing mail can be placed from the real of mailbox for pick-up by postal worker. Mailbox is cemented into the ground though poles that extend from bottom of mailbox.

Method for positioning a mail recovery device within a mailbox
A mail recovery device for insertion into a mailbox, the device structured to adjust to the internal dimensions of the mailbox. A base member of the device rests on top of mailbox bottom surface, a pair of side members are disposed along the side surfaces of the mailbox, and a rear member is disposed along the rear surface of the mailbox. The side members include a plurality of side portions coupled together by a plurality of fold lines, while the rear member includes a plurality of rear portions coupled together by a plurality of fold lines. The fold lines are structured to provide the device with dimensional flexibility so that the size of the mail recovery device may be adjusted to the mailbox internal dimensions.
Retractable mail tray
This present application relates to a movable tray for use with a mailbox, as well as a kit, to allow an individual to retrofit a mailbox to accommodate the moveable tray of the present invention. The moveable tray of the present invention has a low coefficient of friction and may use a system of rails and channels to allow easy pulling of the moveable tray from the mailbox to retrieve the contents of the mailbox.

A mailbox with a housing, a floor and a receptacle situated on top of a sliding rail assembly affixed to the floor. A first bracket is affixed to the inside surface of the door and connected to a first U-shaped bracket with a downwardly facing open part. The two legs of the first U-shaped bracket are pivotally attached to longitudinal rods extending underneath the mailbox. The distal end of each longitudinal rod is pivotally attached to a second U-shaped bracket with a downwardly facing open part. A first end of a traveling rod extends upwardly from the lateral part of the second U-shaped bracket, and a second end of the traveling rod is attached to a shaft. A wheel bearing is situated on either end of the shaft, and a receiving bracket is attached to the rear wall of the receptacle and configured to receive the wheel bearings and shaft.

Pivoting platform for a mailbox
This invention provides a support platform for securing the base of a mailbox to a post or other horizontal support member. More particularly, the invention is directed to a mailbox and a support for a base of a mailbox in which the mailbox is able to pivot from a substantially horizontal position to an inclined position.
