Mailbox system with illuminated address information
A mailbox system includes a mailbox body for receiving and storing mail items. One or more receiver units are disposed along an outside facing surface of the mailbox body and function to receive at least one address indicator having a plurality of lighted elements along a front facing surface thereof. An internal controller having a power unit is positioned within the mailbox body. The power unit includes at least one battery and at least one solar cell for supplying the necessary electrical information to the receiver unit and the address indicators. Physical markings are disposed along the address indicator and form address information. When activated, the plurality of lighted elements display address information.
ILLUMINATED SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND IDENTIFICATION ADDRESS POST
An extruded post used to support a sign, mailbox or set of rails, or in a stand-alone mode, with an interior light source to illuminate characters cut out of the wall of the post or rail for identification of a property or to transmit a message. The light source is inserted into the interior of the post or rail. A translucent sheet is placed within the wall of the post or rail and in front of the illumination source. A reflective backing, with a locking aspect, is inserted into the post or rail to reflect light from the light source thru the translucent sheet and thru the cut out characters. Power for the illumination is provided by a solar charged battery placed in a cap on top of the post. A processing unit is placed in line between the power source and the illumination to generate light patterns and effects.
Residential pneumatic mailbox and mailing system
A residential pneumatic mailbox and mailing system includes a mailbox, a receiving unit, pneumatic tubing, a courier canister, a compressor, and a control unit. The mailbox is positioned along a curbside of a home. The receiving unit is positioned inside the home or on the outside of the home. The pneumatic tubing is connected between the mailbox and the receiving unit. The courier canister is sized to hold mail and is configured for moving back and forth in the pneumatic tubing between the mailbox and the receiving unit. The compressor and control unit are configured to control the movement of the courier canister within the pneumatic tubing back and forth between the mailbox and the receiving unit. Wherein, the residential pneumatic mailbox and mailing system is configured to transport the mail inside of the courier canister from the mailbox to the receiving unit, and vice versa.
Mail keyper
A smart and secure mailbox includes a mailbox and a secured storage. The mailbox and the secured storage are connected through a shared section. The shared section encloses an automated flap. The shared section also integrates a weight sensor. Upon a delivery of a mail, the weight sensor provides an activation signal which triggers the automated flap. The automated flap activates and provides a gap between the mailbox and the secured storage. The delivered mail falls through the gap. Upon a placement of the delivered mail within the secured storage, the automated flap closes which secures the delivered mail within the secured storage.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR MAILBOX SECURITY
The system and apparatus of the disclosure includes a receptacle, referred to herein as a mailbox, and a camera system for detecting and recording movement in and about the receptacle. Detected movement can include the activities of persons depositing or retrieving items from the mailbox, both authorized and unauthorized. Recorded information can include audio and video, and recorded information can be record in discrete clips or continuous streaming with time/date stamping. The camera system can additionally report activity to a remote device, such as computer, server system or a mobile device, including a cell phone, for review. Reporting can be in real time, or stored in a memory device for later review.

MAILBOX
A mailbox comprises an outer shell and an inner shell mounted within a hollow interior of the outer shell, the inner shell defining a hollow interior for receiving mail contents and further defining one or more voids with the outer shell. A door is mounted of a movement to selectively open or close one end of the outer and inner shells. A camera is concealed in one void adjacent the front end, the camera being configured to capture an image in front of the mailbox when the door is moved to at least partially expose the hollow interior for receiving mail contents. A transmitter and a receiver are mounted adjacent the front end to generate an output signal when the mail contents break the light beam therebetween. A flag rotates on the outer shell and actuates a switch to annunciate a presence of the mail contents within the mailbox.
