Example transversely-loadable rotisserie forks are disclosed. An example rotisserie fork includes a first upper prong and a second upper prong spaced apart from the first upper prong. The example rotisserie fork further includes a first lower prong and a second lower prong spaced apart from the first lower prong. The example rotisserie fork further includes a mounting bracket coupled to the first upper prong, the second upper prong, the first lower prong, and the second lower prong. The mounting bracket is configured to be transversely loadable onto a rotisserie spit.

The present invention provides a cooking embodiment and method for cooking food through the manipulation of the distance between a food product and a heat source. Also, food temperature auxiliary systems used in conjunction with the aforementioned embodiment and method. The embodiment and method involve continuously measurement of cooking surface's temperature and system's humidity. The embodiment and methods also include optionally using multiple of the same embodiment if cooking more than one type of food is required at the same time. The auxiliary systems relate to build material supply hating and cleaning diagnostics, and monitoring operation of the embodiment.

A control system for use with an outdoor cooking apparatus may include a hub and an axle housing adapted to slidably couple with a hub. The control system may also include a motor mounted at or near the upper end of the axle housing and an axle mechanically coupled to the motor and extending through the axle housing to a free end emerging from the lower end of the axle housing. The control system may also include a support coupling attached to the free end of the axle, the support coupling being adapted to support a food support below the axle housing. A food smoker includes a smoker body having a lid and a removable smoke and heat source secured within a base. Located adjacent the upper portion of the smoker body is a plurality of apertures configured to support at least one hanger rod. There is disclosed herein a cooking apparatus (10) including: a burner assembly (17) including at least one burner (44) supported by a stand (46), the stand (46) including a magnetically attractive material; a body (14) including a cavity (16) in which the burner assembly (17) is locatable and being adapted to support a cooking surface (20) at least partially over the cavity (16), the cavity (16) including a drain (32) and substantially smooth surfaces (34) arranged to direct a fluid to the drain (32); a gas port (42) fitted to the body (14) to provide the at least one burner (44) with gas; and a magnetic coupling means (50) arranged to releasably couple with the magnetically attractive material of the stand (46); wherein the cooking apparatus (10) is configurable between: a cooking mode in which the burner assembly (17) is fitted to the gas port (42) with the stand (46) supported and located relative to cavity (16) by the magnetic coupling means (50), and the cooking surface (20) is fittable at least partially thereover, and a cleaning mode in which the cooking surface (20) and burner assembly (17) are removeable from the cavity (16), with the magnetic coupling means (50) being decoupled, to reveal the substantially smooth surfaces (34) for cleaning with the fluid.

A barbecue with spit functionality, the barbecue including: a barbecue body having a first opening and a second opening; a first spit support member mounted in the first opening and settable at a storage position, in which the first spit support member is substantially contained within the barbecue body, or one or more use positions, in which the first spit support member at least partially protrudes from the barbecue body; a second spit support member mounted in the second opening and settable at a storage position, in which the second spit support member is substantially contained within the barbecue body, or one or more use positions, in which the second spit support member at least partially protrudes from the barbecue body; and a spit rod releasably engageable with the first and second spit support members when the first and second spit support members are in their respective use positions.

Provided is a portable grill device including at least one substantially vertical, flat heat source, at least one support for food to be grilled that is arranged in front of the heat source, at least one drive unit for rotating the at least one support for food to be grilled about a substantially vertical axis of rotation, and a power supply for supplying the drive unit with the power required for the operation thereof. The present disclosure relates to a rotary roaster capable of uniformly heating the entire surface of a grill by means of an induction heating method. According to one embodiment, a rotary roaster operating on an induction heating device comprises a supporter, a grill rotatably coupled to the supporter, a motor configured to rotate the grill and a receiving coil provided on a bottom surface of the supporter and configured to provide a power induced by a working coil of the induction heating device to the motor.
