A sealing for arrangement between a wall and a wall covering includes a sealing sheet and an adhesive tape. The sealing sheet and the adhesive tape each have a carrier layer of a preferably closed-cell foam plastic. Furthermore, the sealing sheet can bear a nonwoven fabric preferably on the wall-facing side, wherein border strips remain free of the nonwoven fabric for underlapping with an adhesive tape.

A shower system for use in a shower environment includes a receptor. The receptor includes a fluid collection area and a rim. The fluid collection area includes a base forming a bottom surface of the fluid collection area and an opening extending through the base to allow water to drain from the fluid collection area via the opening. The rim extends outward from the fluid collection area along at least a portion of a perimeter of the fluid collection area. The rim includes a resizing feature configured to facilitate removing a portion of the rim to change a size of the receptor in one or more dimensions.

A seal for a bathing enclosure includes a compliant member, a first member, and a second member. The compliant member includes opposing first and second sides defining a plurality of apertures. The plurality of apertures extend from the first side to the second side. The first member includes an inner surface configured to engage the first side of the compliant member. The method of producing a shower tray using a shower tray blank is disclosed. The method may comprise identifying a drain location on the shower tray blank. The method may further comprise deflecting the shower tray blank at an internal location relative to a shower tray perimeter of the shower tray blank along the depth dimension to a deflected state. The method may also comprise cutting the shower tray blank along a plane generally perpendicular to a depth dimension of the shower tray blank when the shower tray blank is in the deflected state to form the shower tray and a discarded portion. An apparatus for producing a shower tray is also disclosed.
