Bathtub platform insert
A bathtub platform insert is described herein (e.g., a footrest, backrest, or table). For example, a bathtub footrest insert herein allows a bather to adjust the length of the “sitting portion” of the bathtub, by securely inserting the bathtub footrest to establish a customizable distance between a backrest of the bathtub to the footrest, such that a bather of shorter height may comfortably stay above the water while soaking in a bathtub. In one embodiment, an example bathtub platform insert herein may comprise: a support surface; adjustable securing members extending outwardly widthwise from the support surface; and gripping end pieces on each end of the adjustable securing members; wherein the adjustable securing members are adjustable to extend an overall width of the bathtub platform insert between opposing pairs of gripping end pieces to secure the opposing pairs of gripping end pieces against a wall of a bathtub.
Safety device and systems for bath enclosures
Disclosed are systems and devices including handholds that can be added to bath enclosures to improve safety of the user. The handhold can be securely attached to a shower surface or a bath surface. A handle is configured to provide the handhold by allowing a user to grasp thereto. A support substrate is coupled to the handle providing a rigid base. A first adhesive layer couples the support substrate to the shower surface or the bath surface and is configured to support the weight of the system upon mounting the system to the shower surface or the bath surface. A second adhesive layer couples the support substrate to the shower surface or the bath surface and is configured to support the weight of the system and a weight applied by the user after curing.
POOL AND SPA WATER HAMMOCK DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
A system and method for providing a hammock for a user to rest thereon in the water of the spa. The hammock may include a proximal end with head support portion and one or more attachment means for connection to an anchor on the spa shell, and a distal end with one or more attachment means for connection to an anchor on the spa shell. One or more lateral coupling members may couple the hammock to the lateral sides of the spa, and one or more longitudinal coupling members may couple the hammock to a front side and/or back side of the spa. The longitudinal and lateral coupling members may support the hammock in the water to give the user a unique flotation experience.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND MOUNTING SYSTEM
A support assembly that includes a structural member that is delimited by a first end and a second end with a first end cap configured to be at least partially disposed within the first end of the structural member and a second end cap configured to be at least partially disposed within the second end of the structural member to mount the structural member to a structure. The support assembly allows for forces to be applied in all directions without causing rotation or disengagement of the support assembly from a mounting structure.
Rotatable bath seat with linear actuator
Disclosed is a movable bath seat device employing a linear actuator to assist an individual with decreased mobility in and out of a bathtub. The linear actuator employs a direct current motor with limit switches to move the seat between positions. The device permits an individual to take a position on the seat outside the bathtub and, by use of the actuator, move their torso to a position inside the bath tub side walls. The seat can then rotate, allowing an individual to lift their legs into the bathtub at their convenience. In a preferred embodiment, the cushion on the rotating seat assembly is constructed of a slip resistant padding comprised of medical grade, closed cell molded polyurethane padding that does not absorb water.
Axillary support device for shower stalls
The object of the present invention is an axillary support device (1) for a handicapped user of a common shower stall provided with at least one flat wall, substantially constituted by a pair of transverse arms (2, 3) fixed to the flat wall of the shower stall by means of a pair of vertical supports (4, 5) firmly anchored to said wall. Said transverse arms (2, 3) are arranged in a manner so as to be substantially perpendicular, in the longitudinal direction thereof, to the wall to which they are fixed; such arms (2, 3) are shaped in a manner so as to have one end (6, 7) bent upward, one end constrained (8, 9) to the vertical supports (4, 5) and they are provided with a covering made of soft and impermeable material. The vertical position and the horizontal position of said transverse arms (2, 3) can be adjusted, the latter being translatable along said vertical supports (4, 5) and lockable in pre-established positions. The device (1) also comprises a retention band (10) adapted to support the user and housed in the bent end (6) of a first (2) of said transverse arms, extractable therefrom, and reversibly constrainable to the bent end (7) of the second (3) of said transverse arms, in a manner so as to be arranged transversely to said arms.
Ergonomic Support Device for Weight of a User
An ergonomic support device is provided for accommodating the weight of a user and allowing the user to perform various tasks with reduced effort. The support device is adapted for use in connection with various settings, such as bathtubs, and allows the user to work in or around a space while in a supported position.
Spa Cushion
A cushion for a hot tub or spa is molded in a rotational molding process. The cushion includes a decorative outer surface made from a plastic material (e.g., an outer wall and side walls, etc.). The cushion includes a a back surface for interfacing with a hot-tub shell or spa shell with at least one projection extending from the back surface towards the decorative surface. The at least one projection is for supporting the force of an object that is resting on the cushion. The cushion if formed in a rotational molding process.
Whole Body Scrub Machine for Washing General family and Bedridden Patients
A device for caring for a human subject is disclosed. The device includes a frame including a base surfaces and side surfaces, and defining a hollow, and a liquid receptacle disposed beneath the frame. A conduit fluidly connects the hollow to the liquid receptacle. A cover is connected to the frame above the hollow. The cover includes a plurality of nozzles.
