In some examples, the detection system detects a stasis condition of the robot. In some examples, the detection system detects a wall and can follow the wall in response to the detected signal.

The mutual spacing of the free ends of the clamping elements is less than the spacing of the clamping elements in the receptacle portion. One or both clamping elements is/are elastically deformable to permit the pin portion to be moved by way of the free ends out of the receptacle portion and into the latter.
