An allergy testing kit contains a plurality of allergy testing applicators, an allergy testing tray and a plurality of allergen bottles each containing an allergen. Each of the applicators contains an elongated handle, a plurality of arms extending from the elongated handle and disposed in an asymmetrical configuration, and a plurality of legs with tines extending from each of the arms. The allergy testing tray contains a main body having an underside and a top surface, a cover for locking with the main body and a plurality of reservoirs extending from the underside of the main body. The reservoirs each have a chamber with an opening extending from the top surface. The reservoirs are disposed in different groups and each group has an asymmetrical configuration matching that of the applicator.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ACOUSTIC DATA TRANSMISSION
20180013499 · 2018-01-11 ·

A method of communicating with an ingestible capsule includes detecting the location of the ingestible capsule, focusing a multi-sensor acoustic array on the ingestible capsule, and communicating an acoustic information exchange with the ingestible capsule via the multi-sensor acoustic array. The ingestible capsule includes a sensor that receives a stimulus inside the gastrointestinal tract of an animal, a bidirectional acoustic information communications module that transmits an acoustic information signal containing information from the sensor, and an acoustically transmissive encapsulation that substantially encloses the sensor and communications module, wherein the acoustically transmissive encapsulation is of ingestible size. The multi-sensor array includes a plurality of acoustic transducers that receive an acoustic signal from a movable device, and a plurality of delays, wherein each delay is coupled to a corresponding acoustic transducer. Each delay may be adjusted according to a phase of a signal received by the corresponding acoustic transducer.

DISPERSAL AND EXPOSURE CHAMBER SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Allergen exposure chambers (AECs) can be used to produce controlled exposure to allergenic and non-allergenic airborne particles but at present cannot be used for double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trials currently required by regulatory authorities. Accordingly, inventive naturalistic exposure chambers (NECs) designed to mimic the environment(s) within which a typical user/individual is exposed are outlined. Further, reproducible controlled allergen dispersal is achieved via robotic allergen aerosolization systems (AAS) which provide automated movement of the allergen source within the AEC as well as structure for acquiring and/or aerosolizing—distributing the allergen. Robotic AAS can be used to acquire only, distribute only, or acquire and distribute. Robotic AAS may also provide aerosolization of two or more allergens in defined manner.

Automated Allergy Office

The automated allergy office system and method takes a medical professional through an allergy testing process and a follow-on immunology injection process step-by-step using LED computer screen tables, computer tablets, smart phones, an internal office computer system accessing Patient medical records, and an augmenter reality headset. The augmented reality headset technology and artificial intelligence are layered onto an improved manual system to minimize false positives and negatives, to improve the patient experience patient, resulting in cost savings for the doctor and patient and enabling portions of the allergy testing to be performed remotely from the office of the allergist, either by the patient or by a trained medical technician.

Arrangement for proactively notifying and advising users in terms of potentially health-affecting location-related phenomena, related method and computer program

The present disclosure presents at least one communication interface for prediction of data related to health conditions, wherein the at least one communication interface is configured to receive health-related data, preferably comprising measurement data, from a first user device of a first user, associated with a first time and a first location. The at least one communication interface additionally comprises at least one processor configured to utilize said received health-related data to generate predictive data to be indicated to a second user device of a second user associated with a second time and a second location.

PENICILLIN ALLERGY TEST KIT
20230008497 · 2023-01-12 ·

The kit evaluates the patient's skin for penicillin sensitivity. The kit comprises a container, a multi-site skin test system, four preloaded syringes, and a tattoo-type label that is transferable onto the patient's skin. A multi-site skin test applicator is cooperatively engageable with four reservoirs in a fluid tray. The applicator pierces the patient's skin as trace amounts of the allergy test fluids are simultaneously administered. The tattoo-type label is transferable onto the skin of the patient and includes a QR Code. The QR Code includes machine-readable linkage to artificial intelligence for assisting a doctor in interpreting patient test results. The doctor reviews the artificial intelligence analysis and decides either to accept the analysis or modify it. The doctor may also decide to verify negative results with a subcutaneous skin test. The four syringes for the subcutaneous skin tests are preloaded with saline, Pre-Pen, Pen-G, and histamine.

Multiple test applicator
11696722 · 2023-07-11 ·

A multiple test applicator has a first and second scratching barb in cooperative engagement with each other and a first and second reservoir in a fluid tray each filled with a first and second allergen. During allergen loading, the first allergen is loaded onto the first scratching barb as the second allergen is loaded onto the second scratching barb. Then, during allergen deposition the applicator is removed from the fluid tray and the first scratching barb moves laterally across the patient's skin as the second scratching barb moves laterally across the patient's skin toward the first scratching barb. The first scratching barb then scratches the epidermis at a first test site as a trace amount of the first allergen is deposited into a first site as the second scratching barb scratches a second site as a trace amount of the second allergen seeps into the second site.
