Systems and methods for using negative pressure wound therapy to manage open abdominal wounds
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to the treatment of wounds using negative pressure. Some embodiments disclosed herein provide for a foam pad, which may be suitable for use in abdominal wound sites, and which may be sized in a dimensionally-independent manner. Additional embodiments provide for a wound contact layer, as well as a system for the treatment of abdominal wounds.

Wound dressing, ingredient delivery device and IV hold-down, and method relating to same
An adhesive device used as a wound dressing, ingredient delivery device or IV hold-down in which inadvertent edge release of these devices along the periphery of the polymeric film layer is minimized when the handling layer, which is adhered to the polymeric film layer, is removed after application of the polymeric film layer to the patient.
Adhesive bandage system and method of use
An adhesive bandage system includes a bottom package strip; a top package strip secured to the bottom package strip at a first end tab; a bandage, the bandage having a body and an adhesive layer and gauze, the adhesive layer removably engaged with an interior surface of the bottom package strip; and an applicator tab attached to a first end of the body of the bandage, the applicator tab extending outside of the bottom package strip and the top package strip; wherein the bandage is removed from between the bottom package strip and the top package strip via pulling force applied to the applicator tab.
Wound pads
Described are wound pads for use, e.g., as cavity wound fillers, having shapes with rounded corners, the projection on an X-Y plane of at least one corner having a curvature distinct from that of the projection of the other corners. Negative pressure systems and kits that includes such wound pads, and methods of using such wound pads are also described.
Porous wound dressing for use in negative-pressure therapy
A porous wound dressing for use in negative-pressure therapy is proposed. The wound dressing has an outer edge which defines a substantially oval or rectangular outer shape of the wound dressing with a major axis and a minor axis. The wound dressing has one or more incisions or perforations which together form one or more arc-shaped lines and serve for cutting the wound dressing to size in order to adapt the wound dressing to the shape and/or size of a wound. The one or more arc-shaped lines each extend asymmetrically with respect to the major axis and/or to the minor axis and each enclose, together with a portion of the outer edge, a segment of the wound dressing that is designed for separation from the wound dressing.
WOUND PADS
Wound pads for use, e.g., as cavity wound fillers, having at least one incomplete cut being made of a plurality of cut segments and a plurality of connection regions are described. The wound pads can be useful in negative pressure would therapy systems and kits.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL RELEASE LINER FOR DRESSINGS
Disclosed is dressing having a backing layer, an (absorbent) pad, an adhesive coating and a release liner. The release liner is releasably attached to the adhesive coating. The release liner is configured to stiffen up and protect protrusions and/or border portions of the dressing that may otherwise be wrinkled, folded, kinked or otherwise damaged or impaired prior to (transportation or storage) or during application at the point-of-use. The dressing can be used for wound treatment. The dressing is suitable for preventing shear and/or friction from causing (deep tissue) skin damage, in particular for the prevention of pressure ulcers.

PROTECTIVE RELEASE SHEET FOR MICRONEEDLE PATCH
Provided is a microneedle patch which is easily to be applied on a skin surface. One or more holes are provided inside a protective sheet of the microneedle patch, and one or more cutting lines running from an outer edge of the protective sheet toward the holes are also provided. The cutting lines may be symmetrically arranged on both sides of the hole. Providing an incision on the outer edge of the cutting lines of the protective release sheet facilitates cutting along the cutting lines. In the use of the microneedle patch, both sides of the cutting line of the protective release sheet are held and torn so as to bring out a microneedle array adhesive sheet and apply it on a skin. Then the microneedle array surface is slightly compressed, thereby the microneedle is inserted into the stratum corneum.
