METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ELASTIC LAMINATE, AND LAMINATE OBTAINABLE ACCORDING TO SAID METHOD
A method for producing an elastic laminate with at least a first top layer and an elastic film, wherein the first top layer is fed along a production direction to a first stretching device, is subsequently stretched transverse to the production direction by means of the first stretching device and is puckered, and is either connected to an extrusion web provided for forming the elastic film such that the top layer is connected to the extrusion web only by portions facing the melt web or is connected to a pre-produced elastic film in that the elastic film is at least incipiently melted on its side facing the first top layer, the first top layer is pressed against the at least incipiently melted side of the elastic film only by portions, and is therefore at least partially embedded in a polymer matrix of the elastic film.

The elastically elongatable panel includes a stretch laminate having layers that are joined by ultrasonic bonding. The stretch laminate has at least one cover layer, an elastomeric film attached to the cover layer, the elastomeric film having two surfaces and a skin on at least one of the surfaces. The stretch laminate has at least one anchoring zone and at least one stretch zone. A portion of the skin is located in the anchoring zone and has a plurality of wrinkles, and the wrinkles have furrows.

A portion of the skin is located in the anchoring zone and has a plurality of wrinkles, and the wrinkles have furrows.
ELASTIC DIAPER ELEMENT
An elastic diaper element is provided that includes an elastic layer (1) and at least one layer (2) made of a non-woven. The elastic element has connecting regions (5) between the elastic layer (1) and the non-woven layer (2). The connecting regions (5) extend in a preferred direction. The non-woven layer (2) is corrugated when the diaper element is in the unstretched condition in order to provide regions (6) as a reserve allowing stretching. The connecting regions (5) have interruptions (10) along their extent.
Methods of making laminates for absorbent articles
A method of making a laminate for an absorbent article is provided. The laminate comprises elastic elements disposed at least partially intermediate two substrates. The first substrate has a primary fiber bond pattern formed therein and comprising a plurality of primary fiber bonds. The method comprises forming densified regions in the first substrate. A perimeter of each of the densified regions is larger than a perimeter of each of the primary fiber bonds. The densified regions together form a pattern of densified regions in the first substrate. The method comprises adhesively attaching the elastic elements to the first substrate, joining the second substrate to the first substrate or to some of the elastic elements, and forming a plurality of rugosities in the first substrate by allowing the elastic elements to at least partially contract. The frequency and amplitude ranges of the rugosities result from the pattern of the densified regions.
Absorbent article with extensible ears
An absorbent article has a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet, an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and backsheet; first and second opposing longitudinal side edges, a front waist region and a back waist region; and a first and second back ear extending outwardly from the first and longitudinal side edges in the back waist region, respectively. The first and second back ears have an engineering strain greater than about 8% at about or below 2N of force when measured according to the Back Ear Extension Test, and a roughness Ra lower than about 300 μm when measured according to the Roughness Test.

ELASTIC DIAPER ELEMENT
An elastic diaper element that includes an elastic layer (1) and at least one layer (2) made of a nonwoven. The elastic element has connection regions (5) between the elastic layer (1) and the non-woven layer (2). The connection regions (5) extend in a preferred direction. The non-woven layer (2) is wavy when the diaper element is in the unstretched condition in order to provide regions (6) as a reserve allowing stretching. The connection regions (5) have an oscillating shape along their extent.
