EXPANDABLE FEMALE URINARY DEVICE PROBE
A female urinary diagnostic device including a urine stream collection container having a discharge opening and a stream collection opening, the stream collection opening being configured to surround and isolate a urethral opening, a probe guide passage configured for interior engagement with a vaginal opening for placement of the stream collection opening relative to the urethral opening, and an internal baffle that defines an interior wall of the urine stream collection container that provides a spillway from the stream collection opening to the discharge opening and cooperates with at least a urine sensing device, where the spillway provides urine passage to the urine sensing device and a collection tank, wherein the internal baffle forms at least a portion of the probe guide passage and defines a sounding probe guide surface that positions a sounding probe within the vaginal opening.
External Female Gravity-Based Drainage
Embodiments described herein are directed to an external, female, gravity-based drainage system. The system includes a body having a front side and a rear side and a drainage tube extending from a bottom side. The body can include a finger groove disposed on the front side and configured to allow a user to grasp the body from the front side alone without any opposing force applied to the rear side. The user can then position the funnel, disposed on the rear side of the body, over a labia region to capture any fluids voided therefrom. The fluids can be directed towards the lumen of the drainage tube and directed towards a suitable receptacle. Advantageously, the shape of the drainage system can be easily grasped and manipulated from a single side which can be important for patients with limited manual dexterity.
Externally wearable female urinary collection and drainage device and related components, systems, kits and methods
Disclosed herein is a urinary collection and drainage device configured to be externally worn on a crotch region of a female wearer. The device includes a collection portion and a funnel portion extending from the collection portion. The collection portion is configured to substantially cover the wearer's vagina so as to receive and facilitate directional flow of urine, that the wearer excretes, into the funnel portion. The funnel portion facilitates flow of the urine to exit the device through an outlet opening of the funnel portion. Also disclosed are assemblies, kits and methods, incorporating the device in connection with additional components to enable a female wearer to urinate, in a sanitary manner, without disrobing, e.g., while standing, kneeling or in a similar position that would not obstruct the flow of urine.
URINE COLLECTION DEVICES HAVING A RELATIVELY WIDE PORTION AND AN ELONGATED PORTION AND RELATED METHODS
Examples relate to devices, systems, and methods for fluid collection such as urine. The urine collection device includes a fluid impermeable barrier and a fluid permeable body. The fluid impermeable barrier at least partially defines a chamber. The fluid impermeable barrier includes at least one elongated portion having a first width and distal to the aperture and a second portion having a second width greater than the first width. The second portion at least partially defines an opening in the fluid impermeable barrier, and the opening has a maximum lateral dimension greater than the first width of the elongated portion. The fluid permeable body is configured to wick fluid away from the opening into the at least one elongated portion.
Single-use expandable liquid container and blank
The present invention relates to a single-use container manufactured from sheet material, the single-use container comprising: a base, wherein the base is flat and forms a surface on which the single- use container can stand, —a front wall, a right wall, a left wall and a rear wall which extend upward from the base, wherein the front wall and the rear wall are convex, and wherein the right wall and left wall are concave, an upper end which connects the front wall, right wall, left wall and rear wall.
FLUID COLLECTION WITH MULTIPORT VALVE ASSEMBLY
Embodiments of the invention relate to devices, systems, and methods for collecting fluid from a wearer. The fluid collection device includes a fluid impermeable barrier defining an interior chamber therein, a permeable body in the interior region, a conduit disposed within the interior chamber, and a multiport valve assembly. The multiport valve assembly allows a user to select a port at a longitudinal point in the interior chamber through which the collected valve can be removed.
Low profile bedpan
A device for capturing and disposing of urine comprises an elongated body. The elongated body includes a top surface, a handle end, and a neck end opposite of the handle end. The device comprises an open neck extending in a direction away from the top surface. The device comprises a groove disposed substantially along the top surface toward the open neck, the groove including a groove wall that extends downwardly from the handle end to the neck end. A bag may be removably disposed on the open neck.
Portable urine container
A portable male urinal will allow the long haul truckdriver or others engaged in long road trips to relieve themselves when facilities are not otherwise readily available. A handle is provided on a sealed container with a flared opening in the opening of the container is large enough to receive the urine. A tapered insert, which forms part of the flared opening which will allow the user to empty the contents without spilling the contents during disposal.
Female urinary device
An external female urinary device includes a connecting and urine collecting component (CUCC) and a urine directing and discharging component (UDCC) configured to connect with the CUCC. The CUCC tapers from a larger orifice to a smaller orifice. The CUCC has a ring defining the larger orifice. The ring is made of a material capable of adhering to urethral orifice surrounding skin (UOSS) as well as to the inner facing surfaces of the labia minora and/or the labia majora after the CUCC is pressed against that UOSS. The ring remains adhered to the UOSS without requiring an external force for keeping the ring in contact with that skin.
A METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXTERNAL URINARY INCONTINENCE TREATMENT FOR WOMEN
The invention is an external urinary incontinence treatment method and device for women that assists women or a care giver in locating the orifice of the urethral tract for the connection of a tube for removal of urine. The method and device facilitate a stable and reversibly fixated connection of a urine receiving component with the skin surrounding the orifice of the urethral tract of a treated patient while minimizing the discomfort of the treatment. The device for the treatment in women of urinary incontinence comprises a urine collecting component and a stabilizing component that are reversibly connected in a manner that the distance between the components can easily be altered so as to minimize the discomfort caused to a treated patient.
