Operation device of automatic driving vehicle
An automatic driving vehicle includes a touch panel that displays various buttons. An operator can input a drive control instruction in relation to the automatic driving vehicle, with the buttons displayed on the touch panel. In addition to the touch panel, the automatic driving vehicle includes a mechanical door switch for opening and closing an automatic door and a mechanical ramp switch for extending and retracting an automatic ramp, both being disposed spaced apart from the touch panel.
CONVERTIBLE RAMP SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A system and method of converting a wheelchair ramp system from one of a manual mode or a power mode to the other of a manual mode or a power mode. The wheelchair ramp system includes a bimodal bracket having a common spindle aperture, a common ramp, a common ramp fold arm, and a common fold arm collar. The bimodal bracket supports either a spring for the manual mode or a motor for the power mode. The common spindle aperture accepts a spindle of the spring or a spindle of the motor, each of which is captured by the common fold arm collar. The common ramp fold arm is coupled to the common fold arm collar and to the common ramp. A common stow switch is fixed to a bracket and a position of the bracket is used in both the manual mode and the power mode to adjust a stow position of the ramp.

RAMP ASSEMBLY FOR A PASSENGER VEHICLE
A ramp assembly for providing passenger access to a passenger vehicle. The ramp assembly includes a ramp having a first ramp plate, a second ramp plate rotatably coupled to the first ramp plate, and a ramp assist assembly. A ramp fold arm is coupled to the ramp assist assembly and to the first ramp plate, wherein the ramp assist assembly directs deployment and retraction of the ramp plate. The link system is connected to the ramp fold arm and to the second ramp plate, wherein the link system includes a slide mechanism coupled to an underside of the second ramp plate. The slide mechanism maintains tension for the link system when deploying and retracting the ramp from the vehicle.

Mobile hyperbaric unit
The present invention is a mobile hyperbaric unit including a vehicle having a vehicle chassis with a front cabin and a rear bed. A partition can extend upwardly from the rear bed at a position next to the cabin. A pod can be removably attachable to the vehicle chassis, the pod can be sized and shaped to occupy and rest upon the rear bed. A detachable connection can enable attachment or detachment of the pod from the vehicle chassis. The partition can have a portion that extends at least partially over the pod top wall. A pod chassis enables the pod to be transported independently of the vehicle chassis. A control station that has ambient pressure can be located in between the partition and the pod. A desired pressure that is not ambient pressure can be maintained within the pod interior by support systems on the vehicle.
Movable baseplate cover and inboard barrier gate of a lift system for a motorized vehicle
A barrier configured to be located at a door a vehicle having a lift platform to enable an individual using a mobility device to exit and to enter an interior of the vehicle. The barrier includes a support base configured to be fixedly coupled to the vehicle. A first side and a second side each extend from the support base are spaced apart to define an access location for the individual using the mobility device. A barrier gate or a barrier plate include an entry position and a blocking position wherein, in at least one embodiment, movement of the lift platform moves the barrier plate from the entry position to the blocking position.
School bus emergency egress system
An emergency egress system for a multi-passenger vehicle such as a school bus (10) includes a housing (30) that operatively supports a ramp (34) in movable connection therewith. Opening an emergency exit door (18) of the bus causes a housing door (24) to open and the ramp to move outwardly from a retracted position toward an extended position. Opening the emergency exit door also causes the suspension of the bus to be automatically lowered to place the emergency exit opening (16) closer to the ground (166).
Vehicle door mounted lift assist device
A lift assist device employs a striker mounting assembly having a case with a receiving chamber having a top channel and a lower channel. A striker housing is removably insertable in the receiving chamber and has a receiver adapted to be inserted over a striker on a door of a vehicle. The striker housing has a top flange with an upper alignment aperture and a bottom flange with a lower alignment aperture, the upper alignment aperture and lower alignment aperture aligned with the top channel and lower channel with the striker housing inserted in the receiving chamber. A striker pin assembly is adapted for removable insertion through the top channel, upper alignment aperture into a striker on a door of a vehicle and through the lower aperture into the lower channel. A pivot assembly is engaged to the case with a pivot pin. A lift assembly has a mounting structure engaged to the pivot assembly with a telescoping support arm depending from the mounting structure. A seat is attached to a terminal end of the telescoping support arm.
PORTABLE RAMP
A ramp includes a plate member. The ramp is formed from a carbon fiber-reinforced resin having a longitudinal elastic modulus in the bridging direction of 50+ GPa, and a connecting section that connects the plate member which plate member can be divided into two in a plane perpendicular to the plate member and parallel to the bridging direction. A reinforcement part forms a plurality of hollow segments arranged single file along the bridging direction of the plate member. The cross section shape perpendicular to the direction of extension of the hollow segments is trapezoidal, the height of the trapezoid is 10 to 50 mm, the base angles are 45° to 90°, the width of the plane that contacts the trapezoidal plate member is 100 to 10 mm, and derailment preventing walls connect to portions of plate member side end faces and hollow segment side end faces.
