System and method for bodily fluid capture and preservation
System and associated method for capturing, preserving, and transporting a bodily fluid, including a collection jar having a base body, a lid body, and a cartridge having a plunger therein and disposed in the lid body, the cartridge housing a preservative when the plunger is in a first plunger position and permitting a release of the preservative into an internal cavity of the collection jar when the plunger is in a second plunger position, and a transportation packaging having an outer container, at least one insulation foam support, at least one phase change material bottle, and at least one collection jar holding tray, where the phase change material bottle has an indented portion corresponding to an indented portion of the collection jar holding tray, and where the collection jar is configured for placement in the at least one collection jar holding tray during transportation.
Tactical medicine dispensers
A portable medicament case that includes a medicament provided in a package, and first and second housing members that are configured to form a medicament package receiving cavity when joined together. Each housing member including a mating member that is configured for engagement with the other housing member in order to join the first and second housing members together in a sealed configuration that prevents moisture or contaminants from entering into the cavity. Also, a magazine containing a plurality of medicament cases for administration of medicaments to a group of people, and a method of administering medications to mass casualties of multiple persons that are in need thereof. The medicaments are rapidly disintegratable and can include a dye that stains the person's mouth so that medical personnel can determine who has been treated with the medicament.
Medical gel warming systems and methods
A warming device and system for warming medical gel to a comfortable temperature prior to application to a patient. A warming chamber configured to receive one or more gel containers (e.g., packets or bottles) disposed in a horizontal orientation with a cover sealing the chamber. Multiple protrusions and/or depressions disposed on an inside surface of the chamber can be used to soften thermal conduction of heat to the gel containers and inhibit hot spots. A flexible heating element and an intermediate thermal conducting member can extend up one or more sides of the warming chamber. Multiple buttons can be used to set different gel temperature settings.
VESSEL FOR BREAST MILK COLLECTION, PRESERVATION, TRANSPORTATION, AND DELIVERY
A vessel includes an inner container, an outer container, a connector, a cap, and a lid. The outer container includes a first coupler and an outer chamber. The inner container includes a second coupler and an inner chamber to hold a liquid. The inner container is receivable at least partially within the outer chamber. The connector includes a third coupler that is complementary to the first coupler, and a fourth coupler that is complementary to the second coupler. When both the first coupler is engaged with the third coupler and the second coupler is engaged with the fourth coupler, the outer chamber is entirely enclosed within a liquid-proof barrier.
Temperature control case for medicament
The invention pertains to a portable insulated medicament container that includes a housing defining a cavity for receiving medicament for maintaining temperature control of the medicament. The housing has an opening for accessing the cavity, and the housing further includes one or more cooling elements for placement in the cavity. The invention also pertains to a method for using a portable insulated medicament container to store a medicament at a temperature range to avoid damage to the medicament.
KIOSK TO DISPENSE MEDICATION SUCH AS MEDICINE FOR OPIOID ADDICTION
The present disclosure is directed to embodiments of a kiosk including a chassis having a patient compartment and a medication compartment. A patient does not have access to the medication compartment in the patient compartment. A dispense structure extends from the patient compartment to the medication compartment such that a dosage of medication may be dispensed to the patient when within the patient compartment. After the medication is dispensed to the patient, a medical professional observes the patient ingest the medication through a video conference display within the patient compartment. A biometric scanner may be in electrical communication with a lock in mechanical cooperation with a door hingedly coupled to the chassis to limit access to the medication compartment. An insulated safe with an internal chamber wherein the internal chamber's temperature is regulated. A medication is stored within the internal chamber of the insulated safe at a selected temperature by regulating the temperature within the internal chamber of the insulated safe.
Medical product transportation and storage enclosure with directed cooling and heating
A medical fluid storage and transportation enclosure can include a housing, a chamber, an exhaust duct, an inlet duct, and a valve. The housing can include walls defining a cavity, where the cavity can be configured to receive a medical product therein. The chamber can be adjacent to the cavity and can be configured to exchange heat with the cavity. The valve can be located in the inlet duct, where the valve can be movable in response to an air.
Protective thermal sleeve for portable electronic devices and pharmaceuticals
Protective sleeves for portable electronic devices or thermally sensitive pharmaceuticals are provided. More particularly, embodiments relate to a protective sleeve that is capable of protecting a portable electronic device or a thermally sensitive pharmaceutical enclosed within from multiple environmental effects, including heat, cold, water, impact forces from being dropped, and germs and bacteria. In embodiments, provided is a protective sleeve comprising: an outer layer of material with a reflective surface; and an inner layer of material with a protective surface that can include an antimicrobial agent; wherein the outer layer of material and the inner layer of material are layered together and configured to receive a portable electronic device or thermally sensitive pharmaceutical. A thermal masking material and products thereof which can be used in a variety of applications where reduced visibility and heat detection is desired such as military, law enforcement, and hunting are also described.
Collection and feeding bottle container
A cooler box or container for containing a one or more bottles for storing human breast milk or infant formula. The container includes four sidewalls and a floor defining an internal volume, and a closure is configured to enclose the internal volume and prevent or provide access thereto. The container is size and shaped for fitting in a stacked arrangement within a refrigerator or freezer, and is easily transportable while keeping the internal volume at a low temperature to prevent the breast milk within the one or more bottles from spoiling. In example embodiments, the container 10 provides for multiple functions throughout its usable life such as functioning as a shipping box or container, a user transport device, and a storage bin in hospital or medical facility refrigerator.
Personal thermoelectric-cooling and heating case
A personal thermoelectric-cooling and heating case includes a first rigid chamber and a temperature regulated second rigid chamber. The first rigid chamber accommodates electronic circuitry. The first rigid chamber also extends lengthwise along a longitudinal axis and includes a first end portion, a second end portion, and a thermoelectric-cooling device. The temperature regulated second rigid chamber includes a bay structure configured to accommodate an item that is subject to temperature regulation. The temperature regulated second rigid chamber (i) extends lengthwise along a longitudinal axis and includes a first end portion and a second end portion, (ii) is coupleable to the first rigid chamber in a lengthwise direction, and (iii) includes a direct heating element thermally coupled to the bay structure. The first rigid chamber and the temperature regulated second rigid chamber together form a housing.
