PILL DISPENSER AND HOME MEDICATION SYSTEM
A pill dispensing device including a body, member, and disc. The disc includes an aperture shaped so that the member can extend through the aperture, whereas the rotation of the member also rotates the disc. The disc includes first and second disc sections having a pill storage sections and a dispensing portion. The dispensing portion has an arm biased towards a stop, as well as a wheel. When the disc section is rotated, a wheel arm engages with the arm, causing the arm to rotate away from the stop and allowing the rotation of the disc section to continue in a first direction. The stop adjacent to the arm prevents the arm from rotating in a second direction and therefore prevents the disc section from rotating in a second direction. The rotation of the disc sections dispense medication from the device.
OPTIMIZATION OF MEDICINES DELIVERY
Embodiments for scheduling the delivery of multiple medications to a patient by a processor. Any interactions between the multiple medications or between one of the multiple medications and a type of food are considered to construct an analytical model to identify an optimized schedule for delivery of the multiple medications to the patient. The optimized schedule is adjusted in real time as additional information concerning the multiple medications and the type of food are introduced, and delivered to a dispensing device associated with the one of the multiple medications.
Resizing tray grid system for medication dosage measuring
A system of grids that allows the user to resize the volume of a tray to measure the desired/prescribed dosage of medication. The system enables the user to resize the tray capacity without having to remove and store parts. The flexibility of the pins or sliders allows the user to move the floor and walls of the tray which allows for any volume and shape of resizing (see exhibit 1).
PROGRAMMABLE PILL DISPENSING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
A programmable pill dispensing device, system, and methods are provided. A programmable pill dispensing device may be used to automatedly dispense a pill, such as a prescription medication, at a programmed predetermined time.
Carriage with timer mechanism for holding a container
An apparatus and method for holding a container comprising of a carriage and timing mechanism. The apparatus is comprised of a lever with at least two positions relative to the carriage, a timer, and a timer reset mechanism such that when the lever is in the first position, the timer will start counting time. When the lever is moved to the second position, the timer reset mechanism will modify the timer such as by resetting the amount of time that has been counted. The user thus knows how much time has passed since the user last changed the position of the lever.
METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING PATIENT ACCESS TO MEDICAMENTS
Methods, systems and apparatuses are provided for controlling and tracking patient access to medicaments. A patient is provided with medication in locked pill containers that must be unlocked before the patient can access medication. The patient is forced through an interactive session periodically with a master system, via a communicative intermediary, in order to obtain a valid passcode for each batch of medications. The patient may be assessed during each interaction with the master system. That assessment may include questions about status codes displayed on each medication container. These status codes may encode detail about the patient's pattern of accessing medication. A rate of medication usage can also be deduced from the rate at which the patient contacts the master system. After patient assessment, the master system may elect to not provide the patient with an access code, such as if the assessment indicates overuse of the medication.
Medication management and reporting technology
Medication management and reporting technology, in which output from at least one sensor configured to sense physical activity in a building in which medication of a patient is located is monitored and a determination is made to capture one or more images of the medication based on the monitoring. A camera is used to capture an image of the medication and the captured image is analyzed to detect a state of the medication. Information regarding a schedule by which the medication should be taken by the patient is accessed and an expected state of the medication is determined. The detected state is compared with the expected state and a determination is made that the patient has departed from the schedule based on the comparison revealing that the detected state does not match the expected state. A message indicating the departure from the schedule is sent based on the determination.
Integrated device and system for drug dispensing
A device includes a reservoir for holding an article that has thereon and a dispenser for dispensing the articles from the reservoir. A deactivation mechanism may deactivate medicament held within the reservoir.
MEANS FOR MONITORING COMPLIANCE, FACILITATING AUTOMATIC DISPENSING AND CHILDPROOFING STRIP PACKAGED MEDICATIONS
There is provided an apparatus for monitoring compliance, facilitating automatic dispensing and childproofing strip packaged medication. In one embodiment a dispenser advances a packet, controls advancement of the packet and detects the presence and absence of the packet, including electronic circuitry for recording events. A replicate for strip package medication can have packets with an open conductive trace, each packet being rupturable at a location to interrupt conductivity of the conductive trace. When the conductive trace of one of the packets completes an external circuit, the circuit is interrupted when the packet is ruptured. In another aspect, each packet has a tuned antenna that is tuned to an external transceiver which detects the detuning of each antenna. In a method of making a replicate for strip package medication, conductive ink is printed on a surface of each packet of the replicate and longitudinal edges of the replicate are reinforced.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR USING A CODE TO TRACK TASK COMPLETION
Embodiments of the present disclosure include systems, devices and methods for using a code to track task completion. Embodiments include receiving, by a user computing device, a code selection user input from a user interface of the user computing device. Further, embodiments include selecting, by the user computing device, a code for a task from a code repository based on the code selection user input. In addition, embodiments include scanning the code using at least one of a scanning module and an image capture device of the user computing device. Moreover, embodiments include receiving, by the user computing device, assignment information from the user interface for the code. Also, embodiments include assigning, by the user computing device, a task for the code based on the assignment information. Further, embodiments include storing, by the user computing device, the code with the assignment information and task in a database.
