PROCESS FOR THE COSMETIC TREATMENT OF KERATIN FIBRES USING A DETERGENT COMPOSITION AND A RARE EARTH METAL COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a process for the cosmetic treatment of keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, implementing the application of a composition comprising at least one surfactant, and the application of a composition comprising a particular metal compound and a conditioning agent chosen from cationic surfactants and/or fatty alcohols.
OIL-IN-WATER EMULSION SUNSCREEN COSMETIC
An objective of the invention is to increase the ultraviolet protection power of an ultraviolet scattering agent, thereby providing an oil-in-water emulsion sunscreen cosmetic that can achieve high ultraviolet protection power and that has excellent emulsion stability. The sunscreen cosmetic according to the present invention comprises (A) an acrylic copolymer having phosphoric acid groups; (B) a hydrophobically treated ultraviolet scattering agent; and (C) 0.3% by mass or more of a water phase thickener; wherein the ultraviolet scattering agent is dispersed in an oil phase.
SUNSCREEN COSMETIC
An objective of the invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that increases the ultraviolet protection power of ultraviolet protectants, thereby achieving high ultraviolet protection power using only a small amount of ultraviolet protectants, while simultaneously providing an excellent texture and placing little strain on the skin. The sunscreen cosmetic according to the present invention contains the following components (A) to (C): (A) an ultraviolet protectant; (B) silica having a particle size of 0.3 to 1 .Math.m; and (C) a powder having a particle size of 1 to 30 .Math.m; wherein the (C) powder is of one or more types selected from the group consisting of silica, aluminum starch octenyl succinate, cellulose or derivatives thereof, waxes, mica, sericite and biodegradable resins.
SOLID PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a solid personal care product comprising: a core layer containing a cleansing or conditioning component; and a skin layer containing a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer. A solid personal care product produced according to the present invention solves the disadvantage that existing conventional solid cleansing agents or conditioning agents in powder, soap, or other flake form have of the powder scattering, as well as the problem of the cleansing power, conditioning efficacy, and fragrance-preserving property of such agents degrading. Moreover, the contents of the cleansing or conditioning component does not rub off onto the hands of a user even when the user holds the contents in the user's hands, and the shape of the product according to the present invention does not change even in places of high humidity. In addition, this solid personal care product is easy to use, store, and package, while retaining the same functions as those of conventional liquid cleansing and conditioning personal care products.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION THAT RESISTS PILLING
A pilling-resistant cosmetic composition is in the form of an oil in water emulsion that includes a water phase and an oily phase, and includes at least one cosmetically acceptable polymeric thickener selected from the group consisting of crosspolymers, gums, taurate based polymers, carbomers, polyacrylates, and combinations thereof, at least one ethoxylated agent in liquid form at ambient temperature in a range from about 20° C. to about 28° C. and has an HLB from about 8.5 to about 16; and at least one oil. The pilling-resistant cosmetic composition resists pilling when applied by rubbing or smoothing on a keratinous substrate.
Topical skin care formulations comprising plant extracts
A method of moisturizing skin of a person is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin of the person a composition comprising an effective amount of an aqueous, alcoholic, or aqueous-alcoholic extract from Parkia biglobosa, wherein the composition moisturizes the skin.
Two coat process for dyeing keratin fibres
The present invention relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular the hair, which consists in applying to the keratin fibres: at least one coat of at least a first composition (i) comprising at least one hydrophobic film-forming polymer, at least one volatile solvent and at least one pigment, and then, after drying, at least a second coat of at least a second composition (ii) comprising at least one hydrophobic film-forming polymer, at least one volatile solvent and at least one pigment, the pigments of compositions (i) and (ii) being qualitatively and/or quantitatively different.
NOVEL SKIN CARE COMPOSITION
The present invention generally relates to the field of skin care. More particularly, the invention relates to a cosmetic or therapeutic skin care composition comprising live bacteria of at least one Cutibacterium acnes (C. acnes) strain in combination with a filler that specifically supports their viability during storage and/or their ability to replicate after application to the skin. Preferably, the cosmetic or therapeutic skin care composition comprises bacteria of at least one C. acnes strain selected from the group consisting of D1, A5, C1, C3, H1, H2, H3, K1, K2, K4, K6, K8, K9, L1, and F4. The invention also provides a method for treating or preventing acne by applying the skin care composition of the invention to a skin area in need of treatment. The invention also relates to the use of a skin care composition of the invention for treating or preventing acne.
ALKALINE COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT ALKALINE AGENTS FOR THE TREATMENT OF KERATIN FIBRES, METHODS AND USES
The present invention relates to a composition comprising arginine, at least one silicate, at least one alkanolamine, and optionally aqueous ammonia and/or at least one compound which generates aqueous ammonia. The composition further comprises at least one thickening agent chosen from non-associative cellulose polymers, anionic associative polymers, non-ionic associative polymers, and their mixtures. The invention also relates to a method for the treatment of keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres, such as the hair, comprising the application of at least one composition according to the invention; and also to the use of the composition according to the invention for the treatment of said keratin fibres, and in particular for the oxidation dyeing and/or the bleaching of the latter.
