IN SITU RECRUITMENT, REPROGRAMMING, AND RELEASE OF CAR-T CELLS
Disclosed are hydrogel matrixes for use in recruitment and reprogramming of CAR T cells, CAR NK cells, CAR NK T cells, CAR macrophage, Tumor infiltrating NK cells, tumor infiltrating lymphocytes, and marrow infiltrating lymphocytes.
CHITOSAN-BASED HYDROGEL AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF.
An hydrogel comprising chitosan and two weak bases having different pKb values. In some embodiments, one of the weak bases if sodium hydrogen carbonate (SHC). Also, use of the hydrogel in medical and cosmetic treatments.
Methods and compositions relating to reporter gels for use in MRI techniques
The present invention describes methods and compositions for non-invasively assessing the molecular structure of biocompatible hydrogels using MRI analysis. It is shown that biocompatible hydrogels prepared from polymerizing macromolecules that are attached to a paramagnetic, superparamagnetic or ferromagnetic contrast agents form reporter gels wherein monitoring of the changes in the structure of the hydrogels by MRI is facilitated by the presence of such paramagnetic, superparamagnetic or ferromagnetic agents in the biocompatible hydrogel.
POST-SURGICAL IMAGING MARKER
A marker for imaging includes a bio-dissolvable material and a contrast agent configured to provide contrast during an imaging procedure. A method can include forming a marker for imaging from a bio-dissolvable material and impregnating the bio-dissolvable material with a contrast agent. A method can include implanting a bio-dissolvable marker for imaging into a patient.
Peptide hydrogels generating chemical exchange saturation transfer MRI contrast and uses thereof
The present invention provides novel hydrogels through peptides, which are designed to self-assemble and produce magnetic resonance (MR) contrast through chemical exchange saturation transfer (CEST). The location and integrity of these gels could consequently be tracked using MR imaging. The self-assembly of the peptides into hydrogels can be brought about by a change in pH, ionic strength, temperature, and concentration of ions.
ALGINIC ACID-BASED INJECTABLE HYDROGEL SYSTEM
The present invention provides an alginic acid-based injectable hydrogel system for labeling an accurate position of a disease lesion and effectively delivering a drug to a target region. The formulation of the present invention can make it easy to locally inject a contrast agent and a drug into a target region while controlling the release rate of the contrast agent or the drug, with the formation of the hydrogel in the injected region. Through the advantages, the labeled position can be accurately determined from images, thereby enhancing the precision of surgical operation, with a minimal incision formed therefor. In addition, when used, the alginic acid-based injectable hydrogel system allows the effective local delivery of a drug to a target region while increasing the long-acting effect of the drug.
COMPOSITION AND COMPOSITE
Disclosed is a composition of a polarization source dispersed in an aqueous medium. Preferably, the polarization source forms a composite with a host. As the aqueous medium, a hydrogel is also usable in addition to water.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MARKER WITH AERATED HYDROGEL
A system for aerating a marker material. The system includes a first container, a second container, and an aeration connector. The aeration connector includes a body and a screen disk disposed within the body. The first container is in communication with the second container via the aeration connector. The screen disk of the aeration connector is configured to aerate a marker material as the marker material is repeatedly passed between the first container and the second container.
Marker having enhanced ultrasound visibility and method of manufacturing the same
A method and system are used to enhance a marker material to include a plurality of air bubbles. The method of manufacturing a marker includes enhancing a marker material to include a plurality of air bubbles using at least a first EFD and a second EFD. The method may include cycling repeatedly through a transfer process between a first container and a second container. A system for enhancing a marker material includes a transfer apparatus configured to receive a marker material and a selected amount of air. The system comprises a first EFD coupled to a first end of the transfer apparatus and a second EFD coupled to a second end of the transfer apparatus.
