A water-in-oil emulsified sunscreen cosmetic containing the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D): (A) 10 mass % or more and 50 mass % or less of a hydrophobized ultraviolet scattering agent, (B) a dipolyhydroxystearic acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol, (C) 35 mass % or more and 85 mass % or less of a liquid oil agent, and (D) water; wherein a mass ratio of the component (B) to the component (A), [(B)/(A)], is 0.01 or more and 0.2 or less.
WATER-IN-OIL EMULSION COSMETIC PREPARATION FOR SKIN
An objective of the invention is to provide a water-in-oil emulsion skin cosmetic having the property wherein contact with moisture, such as water or perspiration, increases the ultraviolet protection effects over those immediately after application, and also having an excellent feeling in use. The present invention relates to a water-in-oil emulsion skin cosmetic comprising (A) (a-1) a copolymer having silanol groups, and oxypropylene groups (PO) or oxyethylene groups (EO), and/or (a-2) a silylated peptide; and (B) an ultraviolet protectant.
WATER IN OIL TYPE EMULSION COSMETIC
To provide a water in oil type emulsion cosmetic capable of obtaining a smooth and fresh sensation of use, and has superior emulsion stability. A water in oil type emulsion cosmetic contains (A) cetyl PEG/PPG 10-1 dimethicone; (B) silicone wax; (C) polyethylene glycol; and (D) a polar oil.
Cosmetic composition comprising glycolic acid and methods of use
The present disclosure relates to stable cosmetic compositions that include high levels of free glycolic acid. The cosmetic compositions typically include: glycolic acid and/or a salt thereof; at least one non-silicone fatty compound; at least one emulsifier; at least one water-soluble solvent; at least one silicone; and water. The cosmetic compositions are in the form of an emulsion, in particular, a water-in-oil emulsion, and typically have a low pH of below 7. Also, the cosmetic compositions have high amount of free glycolic acid, for example, at least 6 wt. % of free glycolic acid, based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. The cosmetic compositions are particularly useful for improving the appearance of skin. Accordingly, the instant disclosure relates to methods of treating skin, for example, improving the appearance of skin using the cosmetic compositions.
APPLICATOR FOR COSMETIC FORMULATION
A cosmetic kit includes a composition that includes a wax emulsion and a polymer. The kit further includes an applicator with a plurality of bristles. At least one of the bristles is made of a thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness in a range of 32 shore D to 38 shore D. Also disclosed is a method of applying a cosmetic compound. The method includes the step of depositing the cosmetic compound on an applicator, wherein the composition includes a wax emulsion and a polymer. The applicator includes a plurality of bristles, and at least one of the bristles is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness in a range of 32 shore D to 38 shore D. The method further includes the step of brushing the applicator against a keratin fiber to transfer the cosmetic compound from the applicator to the keratin fiber.
Device for applying a composition in the form of an emulsion comprising a film-forming agent and non-volatile oils
A device for applying a cosmetic composition to the lips and a method thereof, the device includes an applicator member with a partially flocked applicator head, a container containing the composition which is in the form of an emulsion of water; a film-forming agent chosen from vinyl polymers comprising at least one carbosiloxane dendrimer-based unit; a non-volatile hydrocarbon-based oil; and a non-volatile phenyl silicone oil.
INVERSE LATEX FOR A COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING A SPECIFIC SEQUESTERING AGENT AND A POLYELECTROLYTE COMBINING A STRONG ACID FUNCTION AND A WEAK ACID FUNCTION
Disclosed is a self-invertible inverse latex comprising an aqueous phase containing: a) a crosslinked anionic polyelectrolyte (P) including: —at least one first monomer unit derived from 2-methyl-2-[(1-oxo-2-propenyl) amino] 1-propanesulfonic acid in the form of a free or partially or totally salified acid; —at least one second monomer unit derived from at least one monomer selected from the elements of the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, 2-carboxyethyl acrylic acid, itaconic acid, maleic acid, 3-methyl 3-[(1-oxo-2-propenyl) amino] butanoic acid, the carboxylic function of said monomers being in the free, partially salified or totally salified acid form; and —at least one third monomer unit derived from a polyethylenic crosslinking monomer (AR); b) ethylenediamine disuccinic acid in the form of trisodium salt.
WATER-IN-OIL TYPE EMULSION COSMETICS
Water-in-oil type emulsion cosmetics containing (a) polyaspartic acid or a salt thereof, (b) a spherical powder, (c) an oily component, (d) a lipophilic surfactant, (e) a pigment, and (f) water can achieve superior makeup effects, good moist feeling, superior emulsion stability and pigment dispersibility.
Topical compositions, process of large-scale manufacture, and method of use
Compositions for the treatment of some orphan diseases and oral mucosal ulcers, many with similarities in terms of their anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities, but also multiple differences in their observed abilities that can be combined to challenge the current, underlying pathophysiology. The orphan diseases of interest are Dupuytren's Contracture, Peyronie's Disease, Scleroderma, Raynaud's (or Renaud's) Phenomenon, chemotherapy/radiation induced oral mucosal ulceration, and aphthous ulcers; and more frequent skin issues of skin damage from cuts, abrasions, and burns; aging skin changes, and toe nail fungus. These can be treated with the disclosed compositions with the proper combination and alteration of ingredients inclusive of alpha-pinene, an aloe vera preparation, and a shea butter preparation. A process for preparation of such ingredients in a water-in-oil emulsion is described herein.
