The retractable sheath also may have a guide element. The first, second and third guide paths are configured to slidingly receive the guide element. The device also having a first locking member, a second locking member, a rotating cam disposed in the housing body, and a spring element to bias the retractable sheath to an extended state to cover the distal end of the needle cannula upon completion of an injection.
Injection Device with Needle Obscuring Element
An injection device includes a needle, a needle sleeve surrounding the needle, the needle sleeve having an aperture and being arranged such that the needle extends through the aperture during an injection process, and a needle obscuring element movable between a first position and a second position relative to the needle sleeve. The needle obscuring element is coupled to the needle sleeve when in the first position and when in the second position. The needle obscuring element is arranged to cover a larger portion of the aperture when in the second position than when in the first position.
NEEDLE ADAPTOR AND ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING AN INJECTION DEVICE FOR ADMINISTERING A FLUID TO A SUBJECT
A needle adaptor for forming an injection device for administering a fluid to a subject is disclosed. An assembly for forming an injection device for administering a fluid to a subject comprising a needle adaptor body is also disclosed. Methods for assembling the needle adaptor and the assembly are further disclosed, as are methods of administering a fluid to a subject using same, and kits and injection devices comprising same.
Needle assembly and components thereof
Needle assemblies are generally discussed herein with particular discussions extended to needle assemblies having a tip protector with a plurality of wall surfaces for preventing contact with the needle tip from a side. Aspects of the tip protectors discussed herein include a first protector body having an arm for blocking a needle tip surrounded by a second protector body having a plurality of wall surfaces.

Safety Device for Shielding an Injection Needle of a Medical Container, and an Injection Device Including This Safety Device
The safety device includes a tubular body extending along a longitudinal axis. The tubular body is configured to receive the medical container, a needle cover movable relative to said body between a retracted position, and an extended position in which the needle cover distally extends from the retracted position in order to shield the injection needle after activation of the safety device, a release element configured to move the needle cover from the retracted to the extended position after activation of the safety device, and a retainer for maintaining the release element in a compressed condition when the needle cover is in the retracted position. The retainer is configured to transmit a user's activation force to the needle cover once the injection operation is completed. The needle cover includes a distal abutment surface, and the device includes only two bumps protruding from the body, the two bumps having a proximal abutment surface, the distal abutment surface of the needle cover abutting against the proximal abutment surface of these only two bumps in the retracted position of the needle cover.

The needle cover includes a distal abutment surface, said distal abutment surface abutting against a proximal abutment surface of a bump protruding from the body in the retracted position of the needle cover. The body has a first axial slot extending from a distal end of said body, the first axial slot having a predetermined length comprised between [1-6] mm.
NEEDLE HUB AND IV CATHETER SYSTEM COMPRISING SUCH NEEDLE HUB
Disclosed herein is an IV catheter system., comprising a catheter hub (100), a needle hub (200) and a needle shield (300), wherein the needle of the needle hub is provided with a high friction surface part (207). Furthermore, an open and closed IV catheter system is described. Also disclosed is a needle hub (200) and a shielded needle system (600).
Needle tip shielding device and catheter hub therefore
