The radial movement-restricting portions are provided close to the deformation promoting portions. Being brought into contact with first portions, the radial movement-restricting portions restrict the syringe from moving in a radial direction with respect to the barrel body.
Injection system comprising a syringe and a protective assembly
A protective assembly includes a body for receiving the syringe; and a coupling device inside the body, rigidly connected to the barrel as regards to axial movement relative to the body. The coupling device includes an attaching element which can be either in an engaged state to axially fix the coupling device and the plunger rod, or in a release state in which the coupling device and the plunger rod are axially free relative to one another. The coupling device is axially movable in the body from a storage position to an injection position in which the needle extends beyond the body, and in which the attaching element can move towards the release state. The coupling device is axially movable in the body from the injection position towards a safety position, in which the needle is covered by the body.
Accessory including a slot for a flange of an injection device
An accessory for an injection device having a safety shield and at least one flange adapted to allow a user to grip the injection device and a syringe sheath moveable relative to the at least one flange from a pre-injection position to a locked-out position. The accessory comprises a body portion comprising a recess adapted to receive the safety shield of the injection device and a slot adapted to receive the at least one flange of the injection device.

An accessory for an injection device having a needle cap. The accessory comprises a body portion comprising a recess adapted to receive the injection device and a cover coupled to the body portion. The cover is pivotally moveable between an open position in which the recess is exposed to receive the injection device, and a closed position in which the cover at least partially closes the recess to hold the injection device in the body portion. The accessory further comprises a cap remover comprising a grip adapted to hold the needle cap. The cap remover is moveable with respect to the body portion.

The safety device includes a tubular body extending along a longitudinal axis. The tubular body is configured to receive the medical container, a needle cover movable relative to said body between a retracted position, and an extended position in which the needle cover distally extends from the retracted position in order to shield the injection needle after activation of the safety device, a release element configured to move the needle cover from the retracted to the extended position after activation of the safety device, and a retainer for maintaining the release element in a compressed condition when the needle cover is in the retracted position. The retainer is configured to transmit a user's activation force to the needle cover once the injection operation is completed. The needle cover includes a distal abutment surface, said distal abutment surface abutting against a proximal abutment surface of a bump protruding from the body in the retracted position of the needle cover. The bump extends in a circumferential direction according to a central angle comprised between 22.5°-45°.

The body has a first axial slot and a second axial slot, the first axial slot and the second axial slot extending on both sides of the bump.
