Injector device
An injector device includes a housing and a cartridge having a reservoir for medicament. The injector device further includes a needle unit comprising a needle, and an actuator. The needle unit is movably mounted to the housing and, prior to use of the injector device the reservoir, is sealed from the needle. The actuator is configured to move the needle unit 5 into engagement with the cartridge such that the needle is moved into fluid communication with the reservoir. A thread is arranged to cause rotation of the needle unit as the needle unit moves into engagement with the cartridge.
MINIATURIZED PATCH PUMP SYSTEM
A patch pump system that has an electronic assembly, a reservoir for containing a fluid, and an inserter for selectively transitioning a needle from a retracted position to an extended position. The inserter provides a fluid channel that selectively fluidly couples a distal tip of the needle to the reservoir. The needle is at least partially deformed as it transitions from the retracted position to the extended position and the electronic assembly selectively distributes fluid from the reservoir to the distal tip of the needle.

Adjustable height needle infusion device
An infusion set has a retraction dial that can be removably assembled with the infusion set and access a threaded needle hub contained therein such that the dial can be used to advance or retract a needle hub and an inserted needle to a more precisely controlled insertion depth to deliver insulin or other medicament intradermally (i.e. to the upper 3 mm of skin surface). Position of the inserted needle can be maintained by providing a separated and isolated needle hub, main base and main hub of the infusion set that can isolate the inserted needle from external forces such that the needle can be maintained at a depth to deliver content to the upper 3 mm of skin surface during normal use.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
A drug delivery device includes a blunt cannula and a reservoir. The blunt cannula has a cylindrical wall that defines an axial passage between a first end and a second end of the blunt cannula. The wall has at least a first tapered region at the first end to define an opening in fluid communication with the axial passage and adapted at the first end to resist interruption of fluid flow through the axial passage and out of the first end of the blunt cannula. The reservoir is connected to the second end of the blunt cannula.
Apparatus and method to inject fluids into bone marrow and other target sites
Apparatus for delivering a quantity of fluid to bone marrow of a bone or providing access to remove fluids from a target site is provided. The apparatus may include a driver, a plunger operating and cartridge assembly mechanism, a cartridge assembly having a fluid reservoir and a bone penetrating needle.
ENDOSCOPE SHEATH AND ENDOSCOPE INJECTION POSITIONING DEVICE
Provided is an endoscope sheath including: a sheath body having an elongated rotating section and a stationary section, which are coupled to each other in a relatively rotatable manner about a longitudinal axis; a first passage along the axis; a second passage parallel to the first passage; an outlet through which a proximal end of an injection needle inserted in the second passage is pulled outside, the outlet being capable of changing a pullout position of the proximal end of the needle relative to the stationary section in the circumferential direction; and holders provided in the stationary section and separated by intervals in the circumferential direction, each holder securing an injector having the needle to the stationary section at a position where the needle protrudes from the distal end of the body and releasing the injector at a position where the needle is accommodated inside the body.
System and method for underactuated control of insertion path for asymmetric tip needles
A needle steering system and apparatus provides active, semi-autonomous control of needle insertion paths while still enabling a clinician ultimate control over needle insertion. A method and system controls the needle path as the needle is inserted by precisely controlling the rotation of the needle as it continuously rotates during insertion. This enables underactuated 2 degree-of-freedom (DOF) control of the direction and the curvature of the needle from a single rotary actuator. Control of the rotary motion is therefore decoupled from the needle insertion. The rotary motion controls steering effort and direction, while the insertion controls needle depth or insertion speed. In one implementation, the proposed method does not require constant velocity insertion, interleaved insertion and rotation, or known insertion position or speed. The insertion may be provided by a robot or other automated method, may be a manual insertion, or may be a teleoperated insertion.

Dart and dart retainer
The invention relates to a dart (10) comprising a body, the body defining a chamber (24) having a plunger located therein to operatively deliver a substance through a hypodermic needle (32) extending through a front end of the body, and a retainer comprising a barb body locatable on the hypodermic needle (32) characterised in that the barb body is threaded. The invention further relates to a dart retainer, wherein the retainer comprises of a threaded barb body locatable on a hypodermic needle (32) of a dart (10).
