DUMBBELL FACILITATING WEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
A dumbbell facilitating weight adjustment is disclosed. The dumbbell includes a dumbbell rod assembly, multiple counterweight disks, and a base for placing the dumbbell rod assembly and the multiple counterweight disks. The dumbbell rod assembly includes a mandrel, fixed disks and gear rotating disks fixed on the left and right sides of the mandrel, positioning rings and multiple coupling flanges. Rotation interference devices for preventing a rotation of the mandrel are provided in the fixed disks. Unlocking devices for unlocking the rotation interference devices are provided on the base. The rotation interference devices include push rods arranged on front sides and rear sides of the positioning rings, pressing rods arranged on upper parts of the push rods and return springs arranged on upper parts of the pressing rods. The unlocking devices include push pillars arranged on the base and cooperating with the push rods.
Barbell weight plate securing strap
A weight plate securing strap having a stretchable strip with a first end, a second opposite end, a first side, a post on the first end, and a plurality of apertures near the second opposite end. A first gripping flap is positioned at the first end and a second gripping flap is positioned at the second opposite end. The gripping flaps are also positioned on the first side. The gripping flaps are constructed so that fingers and thumbs of a user remain on the first side of the strip as the user grips the gripping flaps, stretches the strip around the barbell, and inserts the post into the aperture. The use of the gripping flaps thereby prevents the fingers and thumbs of the user from interfering with the insertion of the post through the aperture. The strip wound and stretched around the barbell creates high resistance to movement of the strip along the length of the barbell. The strip can be made in one piece and entirely of rubber.
Travel exercise equipment assemblies
Example travel exercise equipment includes a barbell including a first end portion and a second end portion and a pair of yokes. Each yoke includes a base and a pair spaced-apart yoke arms extending from the base. The bases being adapted to be coupled to a corresponding end portion of the barbell. The travel exercise equipment includes a pair of containers having handles adapted to be carried by a corresponding yoke.
CRADLE FOR SUPPORTING FREE WEIGHT ASSEMBLY
A cradle for supporting an adjustable free weight assembly that includes first and second weight plate sets. End walls and side walls of the cradle define a cavity sized to receive the free weight assembly. The end walls engage plate portions and locking element portions of outermost weight plates of the free weight assembly when received in the cradle. Inboard surfaces of the side walls engage portions of weight plates in at least the first weight plate set to substantially inhibit the first weight plate set from moving vertically or laterally between the side walls. The configuration of the inboard surfaces of the side walls aligns the weight plates in the first weight plate set both vertically and horizontally so that central openings in the weight plates for receiving a selector shaft are substantially concentric.
ISOKINETIC OSCILLATION EXERCISE DEVICE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
An isokinetic oscillation exercise device of an elongated flexible blade having a first and second end and a grip portion coupled to a middle portion of the elongated flexible blade. End caps coupled to said first and second ends adapted to storage. Further, a method is disclosed of manufacturing an isokinetic oscillation exercise device that provides a flexible elongated flexible blade, a grip portion injection molding, a pliable ring injection moldings, and end caps injection molding; slides the pliable rings on the elongated flexible blade separated by a length of the grip portion, overmolds a first-shot of the grip portion over the pliable rings, overmolds a second-shot of the grip portion to the first-shot of the grip portion to the elongated flexible blade, seals the first-shot to the second-shot of the grip portion against the pliable rings; and attaches the end caps to the elongated flexible blade.
Weight Bar Stopper
A exercise equipment includes a weight bar, a plurality of weight plates slidably coupled at two ends portions of the weight bar from two free ends thereof respectively, and a weight bar stopper built-in at each of the end portions of the weight bar to increase a peripheral size of the weight bar at the end portion thereof to block the weight plate being slid out of the free end of the weight bar. When the weight bar stopper is actuated to adjust the peripheral size of the weight bar back to its original size, the weight plate is allowed to be slid in and out the end portion of the weight bar.
ADJUSTABLE WEIGHT LIFTING DEVICE
An adjustable weight lifting device (21) includes a tube (31), a pin (33) movably disposed inside the tube (31), the pin (33) comprising an external thread (35), and one or more driving knobs (51) extending radially inward relative to an inner wall of the tube (31) and engaging with the external thread. The external thread comprises at least one portion having a first helix angle and at least one portion having a second helix angle, the second helix angle being smaller than the first helix angle.
Clamping device
A clamping device, such as a barbell collar, includes a primary member having a cylindrical body with a central passage configured to receive a mounting member therethrough, an actuator mechanism connected to the primary member and moveable between a locked position, where the primary member securely engages the mounting member, and an unlocked position, where the primary member is removable from the mounting member. The clamping device also includes a retaining mechanism configured to releasably retain the actuator in the unlocked position.
ADJUSTABLE DUMBBELL
An adjustable dumbbell device includes one or more weight members and one or more weight elements each having two side panels to form a chamber, and an opening formed in each of the panels, two housings detachably engaged in the weight member and the weight element, two catches slidably engaged in each of the housings and engageable with the openings of the panels for anchoring the housings to the weight member and the weight element selectively, two followers are rotatably engaged in each of the housings and each include a gear engaged with the catches for moving the catches to engage with the panels and to anchor the housings to the weight member and the weight element respectively.
RETENTION COLLAR FOR A CYLINDRICAL ELEMENT
The present document relates to retention collars for use with weight plates and a cylindrical element, such as a barbell, designed to receive the weight plates. The retention collar comprises a body with an expansion opening, and an opening mechanism. The opening mechanism comprises a first radial tab extending from the body adjacent to a first side wall of the expansion opening and a second radial tab extending from the body adjacent to a second side wall of the expansion opening with a tab-receiving aperture for receiving the first radial tab therethrough. When the first and second radial tabs are squeezed together, the diameter of the center aperture increases to receive the cylindrical element therethrough. When the opening mechanism is released, the center aperture returns to its original diameter and retains the weight plates on the barbell.
