NOVEL GOLF FLAGSTICK INCORPORATING A MECHANIZED SYSTEM FOR EJECTION OF GOLF BALL FROM THE GOLF HOLE
The present invention comprises a novel golf flagstick which complies with the official rules of golf and consists of a flagstick with a ball ejection cylinder located four feet above ground level. The ball ejection cylinder is lifted by hand or with the shaft or grip of a golf club to eject the golf ball from the golf hole without the need to reach into the hole and without any damage to the sensitive grass turf surrounding the golf hole. In preferred embodiments, the ball ejection cylinder is color coded to provide golfers with an indication of the position of the golf hole on the golf green (red: front, white: middle, blue: rear) and incorporates a reflective strip for easy targeting of the flagstick by commercial laser distance measuring devices. In preferred embodiments, the ball ejection cylinder easily snaps on and off of the flagstick allowing for easy changing of the cylinder color with the daily repositioning of the golf hole on the golf green.
Internet sports computer cellular device
A system that wirelessly integrates actual sports equipment with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive simulated sports game. An individual player may opt to play solo or practice to improve basic techniques. The system includes motion sensors connected to the player and a motion sensing device, all containing circuits and contact or motion sensors coupled with signal processing and radio frequency transmitter circuitry, thereby wirelessly communicate game performance information to a remote receiver-computer. The computer displays player information and visually simulates and controls a game between two players via the internet, having similar equipment and remotely located from each other. Standard sports equipment may be retrofitted with the sensors and associated circuitry to convert such equipment into “smart equipment” for use with the system. The system employs specially developed computer software to process player performance data, control game play, communicate game information between players, generate and control visual simulations and display player performance information.
GOLF PUTTING TRAINING AID
Ejector devices and methods for golf putting training are provided. An ejector device can be configured for placement in a regulation golf hole. The ejector device can include a top member connected to a base by a lift mechanism. The lift mechanism is operated by a motor in response to commands received from a controller. The controller can selectively actuate the motor and cause the lift mechanism to raise the top member relative to the base, to thereby eject a golf ball from the hole. Such actuation can be in response to detecting the receipt of a selected number of golf balls in the hole. Alternatively, the ejector device can be operated in response to an actuation command entered by a user through a remote control device wirelessly connected to the ejector device.
AUTOMATIC GOLF BALL LIFTING DEVICE
An automatic golf ball lifting device capable of lifting a golf ball up to ground level comprises a first cylinder having dimension of a standard golf hole, and a second cylinder fit into the first cylinder where inside second cylinder there installed mechanisms for lifting the golf ball up to the ground level. The mechanisms for lifting the golf ball up in the second cylinder comprises: a golf ball plate; a load cell, installed underneath said golf ball plate at the uppermost end of a lifting set; a lifting set functions to move the golf ball plate up upon being actuated through a preset PCB, where at lower end of the lifting set is connected to a ball screw set and the uppermost end connected to the load cell; a ball screw set having screw which can turn clockwise or anticlockwise to allow lifting set to move up or down to a preset level; a motor functions to drive ball screw set through a bevel gear; a bevel gear rotates by motor and functions to turn the screw; a PCB electronically controls operation of all the components in the second cylinder; battery supplies electrical power to motor. An automatic golf ball lifting device has a remote control to turn the device ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ from a far distance.
PORTABLE PUTTING GREEN
A practice putting device that includes a putting mat, a housing, and ball return arrangement.
Golf ball recovery device
A device for recovering a golf ball from a golf hole, the device comprising a baseplate extending substantially horizontally and configured to rest in the hole, a rod extending substantially vertically from the baseplate, and a handling member arranged on the rod so that it may be lifted by the head of a golfer's club.
HOLE CUP FOR GOLF PRACTICE
A hole cup for golf practice includes: a base plate with a given area unfoldedly located supportedly on a floor; and hole wall bodies arranged on top of the base plate to extend upward from the base plate to a given height and having an entry hole formed at the insides thereof to allow a golf ball to accommodatedly enter and entry openings formed on one side thereof to allow the golf ball to pass therethrough and thus enter the entry hole from the outside, wherein two or more entry openings are formed with different widths from one another.
GENERATING AN ANIMATION DEPICTING A USER USING MOTION AND PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA CAPTURED USING SENSORS
A system that wirelessly integrates actual sports equipment with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive simulated sports game.
Golf hole cup with golf ball ejection device
A golf hole cup with a golf ball ejection device includes; a golf hole cup; a movable part accommodated in the cup, the movable part allowing a flagstick ferrule to be inserted therein and removed therefrom, and the movable part being movable vertically with the flagstick left inserted therein; a guide part that guides the movable part vertically; an elastic body that is at a bottom of the movable part, and exerts force to make the movable part having been pushed down return to an original position; a drive unit; a transmission part that is connected to the movable part and transmits downward acting force to the drive unit, the drive unit converting the downward acting force into upward acting force; an elevation part that is elevated upon receiving force from the drive unit; and a bottom plate part that is connected to and is elevated with the elevation part.
