BASKETBALL LAUNCHING SYSTEM FOR RECORDING SHOOTING STATISTICS AT LOCATIONS OTHER THAN PASSING LOCATIONS
A basketball launching system for recording shooting statistics in association with locations other than passing locations. Controller(s) receive data from a user interface indicating selection of a pass location and one or more shooting locations which are spaced apart from the pass location and program a launching device to pass basketballs to a location at a basketball playing area corresponding to the selected pass location and record shooting performance information in association with an associated one of the selected shooting locations for each respective one of the passes.
Blockchain
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a camera coupled to a processor; and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
System and method for a sports-coaching platform
A system and method is disclosed for a surround-perspective motion annotation comprising: an image/video input for capturing and/or parsing into at least one image frame of a subject performing at least one motion from each of at least three perspectives; a vector generating module for generating a test vector or wire mesh corresponding to a pose of the subject in each of the captured/parsed frame from each of the perspectives; and an annotation module for inputting a drawing imposed on the test vector/mesh for a visual contrast against any one of a feature from the test vector/mesh from any one of the perspectives. Further disclosed embodiments include for a system and method for generating multi-perspective, color-coded deviations of a subject from a reference (color wheel). Further embodiments include for a system and method for generating an optimal motion signature (OMS) for the subject based on his or her generated color wheel.
Simulation System and Method
A simulation system in which an amateur player may obtain an assessment of how the amateur players skills compare to those of an average professional athlete or a selected professional athlete that takes into consideration the physical differences between the amateur player and the professional athlete. Measurements of an amateur player are obtained and compared to those of a professional athlete. Such comparisons are used to adjust parameters for a physical or virtual simulation that may be used to assess the abilities of amateur player relative to that of the professional athlete.
SPORTS TRAJECTORY TRAINING DEVICE
Embodiments described herein are related to a sports training device. The sports training device may include a base structure having a supporting element and a shaft coupled to the base structure such that the shaft is selectively raised or lowered relative to the base structure. A resilient rod may be coupled to the second end of the shaft and disposed. The resilient rod may be capable of bending to absorb an impulse and returning to a first resting position along. A longitudinal rod structure may be coupled to the resilient rod. The longitudinal rod structure may be disposed along the first axis and capable of rotating with the bending of the resilient rod. A reference object may be coupled to an end of the longitudinal rod structure. The reference object may be disposed along or proximate to a target trajectory of a sports ball.
AUGMENTED AUDIO CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Techniques for implementing an augmented audio conditioning (AAC) system are described herein. In some examples, the AAC system can store conditioning data comprising crowd noise experiences associated with context-relevant environments and/or actions associated with an activity. The AAC system can detect an action of a user who is training in a conditioning environment and determine that the action is associated with the activity. In some examples, the AAC system can also determine an association between the action of the user and audio data representing a crowd noise experience of a context-relevant environment during an event. Furthermore, the AAC system can, in response to detecting the action of the user, output the audio-conditioning data into the conditioning environment to simulate the crowd noise experience of the context-relevant environment during the event.
USER CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
Training Device
A basketball training device that presents an elevated target suspended between the player and the basketball goal. Preferred embodiments of the device include a moveable base, a telescoping mast and a horizontally oriented arm featuring a target. The device is used to teach a player to shoot a basketball by perfecting the arc of the shot from the player's hands to the goal. The target is positioned between the player and the goal such that the player shoots over the target to make a basket. The mast can be raised and lowered using a winch and pulley system to adjust the device to the player's individual height and arm length. The device can be disassembled for storage and transport. The device trains the player to shoot the basketball with the correct arc to consistently make their shot.
Training aid for shooting a basketball
A training aid for shooting a basketball including a head-mounting portion configured to mount onto the head of a person shooting the basketball and a feedback-providing portion attached to, and supported by, the head mounting portion. The feedback-providing portion defining a forward-facing engagement surface extending upward from the head-mounting portion that provides tactile feedback to the person when the engagement surface is contacted by at least one of the basketball and a shooting hand of the person shooting the basketball.
Interactive training of body-eye coordination and reaction times using multiple mobile device cameras
Methods and systems for multi-player training of body-eye coordination using mobile computing devices each having a camera are provided. The methods and systems execute instructions to capture a first training video of a first of player, using a first camera on a first mobile computing device; superimpose a visual cue onto the first training video at a visual cue location and for a cue period starting from a first time instant; determine whether the first player has responded to the visual cue at a second time instant within the cue period; receive a notification from a second mobile computing device, where the notification was generated in response to determining that a second player has responded to the visual cue at a third time instant within the cue period; and in response to a determination that the first player has responded to the visual cue and to the notification, generate a feedback to the first player.
