Multifunctional exercise equipment
A multifunctional cardiovascular exercise machine may include a frame including a first and second end attached to one another by a pair of ski rails and a centrally located center frame rail. A flywheel may be operatively mounted to the frame, and a pulley system may be mounted to the frame, the pulley system supporting and routing a pull rope, wherein the pull rope is operatively engaged with the flywheel, and a free end of the pull rope is removably engaged with a pull bar, a pair of ski poles, and/or a pair of pull handles. A sliding seat may be operatively attached to the flywheel and slidably mounted to the center frame rail, and a pair of footrests may be mounted to the frame proximate to the flywheel.
Cross-country skiing machine
The present invention relates to a device for physical exercise comprising a pair of skis (2) having a top side and a bottom side, a frame (5), two pendulate arms (19), each of the pendulate arms has an upper end rotatably connected to the frame about a rotational axis, and a lower end pivotably connected to one of the skis, and at least one resistance unit (13, 15) connected to the pendulate arms. The device comprises at least one support parts (1;29;30) located below the skis respectively, and two movable elements (20;26;28) connected to the bottom sides of the skis respectively, and each of the movable elements are arranged linearly movable along one of the support parts.
Cross-country ski exercise machine
A cross country skiing exercise machine is disclosed. The machine has ski members slidingly mounted to a base frame and front and rear arm exercise units mounted towards the front and rear of the base frame, respectively. The front arm exercise unit has a front pair of flexible lines to be gripped by a user's hands to permit the user to reciprocally pull back on said front pair of flexible lines. The rear arm exercise unit has a rear pair of flexible lines having straps configured to be attached to the user's arms to permit the user to reciprocally pull forward on the rear pair of flexible lines. The front and rear arm exercise units are configured to apply a drag force to the front and rear pair of flexible lines, respectively. A rear leg exercise unit having flexible lines for mounting to the user's legs is also provided.

Device for physical exercise
A training equipment for resistance training of the upper body, wherein the training equipment comprises: an attachment portion adapted to be attached to the body of an exercising person, a handle portion adapted to be gripped by the exercising person, a first distance device flexibly attached in the attachment portion by a first joint, a second distance device flexibly attached in the first distance device by a second joint. At least one of: the first joint, the second joint, the first distance device, and the second distance device comprises an adjustable movement resistance device adapted to create an adjustable resistance between the attachment portion and the handle portion, so that training of the upper body is obtained upon movement of the handle portion.
Method for training and assisting alpine skiers
A method and device are provided that allow a competent skier to train and/or assist a trainee downhill skier with the acquisition of basic downhill skiing techniques. The trainee skier is tethered to an uphill instructing skier by a pair of reins attached to the trainee at the ankles, ski tips, or to the ski tips via ski tip handles. The instructing skier has substantially independent control over each tethering point to assist or train the novice skier to execute turns, control speed, and promote proper balance and stance for the maneuver and terrain at hand. The method and device may also comprise the use of adjustable ski tip couplers that limit divergence, and optionally convergence, of the trainee's ski tips. Handicapped skiers may be assisted and guided in downhill skiing using this method and device.
