PUTTING PRACTICE DEVICE FOR TRAINING OF KEEPING PUTTER FACE SQUARE AND CONTROLLING PUTTING STRENGTH
Disclosed is a putting practice device configured to enable training of keeping a putter face square without checking movement of a golf ball, to enable training of controlling putting strength as well as keeping the putter face square, and to enable training of practicing linear motion of a putter during execution of a putting stroke while an actual golf ball is struck. The putting practice device for the training of keeping the putter face square and controlling the putting strength includes an advance groove, a base plate, a striking part, an impact sensor, and a display part.
MAT, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR MEASURING GOLF POSTURE CAPABLE OF MEASURING GOLF CLUB SWING SPEED
Disclosed is a mat, method, and program for measuring a golf posture that are capable of measuring a golf club swing speed. The golf posture measuring mat capable includes a sensor unit sensing a pressure corresponding to a golf posture of a user and a trajectory of a head of a golf club, a control unit analyzing the golf posture of the user and a swing speed of the golf club based on a sensed signal of the sensor unit, a display unit displaying analysis data analyzed by the control unit, and a storage unit storing the analysis data and reference data. A plurality of sensors in the sensor unit are arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally on a mat plate. Each of the plurality of sensors includes a single sensor including one among a capacitive pressure sensor, a resistive pressure sensor, and a hybrid pressure sensor, or includes a composite sensor including two or more among the capacitive pressure sensor, the resistive pressure sensor, and the hybrid pressure sensor.
Rotation Sports Training System and Method
A sports rotation swing training system is provided that includes a harness assembly to be worn around the torso of the player that is used with a separate vertical upright structure. The harness assembly comprises a chest/waist band and a generally horizontally projecting stick protruding from the band side. The projecting stick is designed to engage with the separate upright structure upon the player’s execution of a swing to provide feedback (auditory, tactile, or electronic) related to the degree of rotation. The chest/waist band can be alternatively positioned by the user at the chest (to practice thoracic rotation) or at the waist (to practice pelvic rotation). In a preferable aspect of the invention, the angle of the projecting stick is adjustable downward from generally parallel to the ground.
Internet sports computer cellular device
A system that wirelessly integrates actual sports equipment with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive simulated sports game. An individual player may opt to play solo or practice to improve basic techniques. The system includes motion sensors connected to the player and a motion sensing device, all containing circuits and contact or motion sensors coupled with signal processing and radio frequency transmitter circuitry, thereby wirelessly communicate game performance information to a remote receiver-computer. The computer displays player information and visually simulates and controls a game between two players via the internet, having similar equipment and remotely located from each other. Standard sports equipment may be retrofitted with the sensors and associated circuitry to convert such equipment into “smart equipment” for use with the system. The system employs specially developed computer software to process player performance data, control game play, communicate game information between players, generate and control visual simulations and display player performance information.
GOLF CLUB WEIGHT PATTERN DETERMINATION APPARATUS AND RECOMMENDATION APPARATUS
Provided is a weight pattern determination apparatus for determining, in a golf club having a head capable of mounting one or more weights in a plurality of mounting patterns, the mounting pattern suited to a golfer. The apparatus has an impact point specification unit and a pattern determination unit. The impact point specification unit specifies an impact point distribution of the golfer. The pattern determination unit determines a recommended pattern which is the mounting pattern that approximates a sweet area of the golf club to the impact point distribution. According to the first aspect of the present invention, the impact point distribution of the golfer is specified, and a mounting pattern is determined based on this impact point distribution.
IMPACT INDICATION AND DATA TRACKING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Devices and methods are generally provided for indicating the location of a most recent strike on a face of a golf club. One exemplary embodiment of an impact indication device can include a patch that can be attached to the face of a golf club and can display the impact location of a most recent strike without displaying impact locations of previous strikes. The impact locations of previous strikes can be removed from the patch without the user having to do anything more than take another swing. In some embodiments, the device includes a yield-stress material that assist in displaying impact a most recent impact location without displaying previous impact locations. Other features that can allow patches to work in this fashion, as well as methods related to the same, are also provided. Further, disclosures pertaining to a mobile impact recorder are also provided.
System and method to identify impact locations
A golf club comprising a golf club head having a face wall, an inertial motion unit (IMU) positioned within the body, and a transceiver in communication with the IMU, a shaft attached to the golf club head, and a grip attached to the shaft is disclosed herein. The IMU identifies an impact location with a golf ball.
HIT POSITION ESTIMATION DEVICE AND HIT POSITION ESTIMATION METHOD
A hit position estimation device includes a sensor and a calculation unit. The sensor is attached to a shaft of a golf club and outputs a sensor signal including twisting of the shaft. The calculation unit estimates a position at which a ball hits a head from a twist component when the ball hits the head of the golf club, by using the sensor signal.
ELECTRONIC GOLF TARGET GAME
An electronic golf based target game in which one or more players use a golf club to hit golf balls towards one or more target zones located on a target. The target zones are assigned a corresponding score earned upon being struck by a golf ball from a respective player. The target is wirelessly in electronic communication with a mobile electronic device which displays a user interface. The target may be folded for ease of transportation and storage.
GENERATING AN ANIMATION DEPICTING A USER USING MOTION AND PHYSIOLOGICAL DATA CAPTURED USING SENSORS
A system that wirelessly integrates actual sports equipment with a computer and the internet to allow players remotely located from one another to play a competitive simulated sports game.
