An improved golf swing training device that includes a curved platform with right and left adjustable strike plates, each having adjustable swing plane guide rods connected by a rotating disk attached to the rear of each strike plate. The curved platform, duplicating the bottom path of the proper curved golf swing, is attached to a single straight track by means of multiple horizontal bearings. The curved platform moves fore and aft along the straight track. The bearings provide both retention and backstroke/reverse and follow-through/forward movement of the curved swing platform. The elongated and angled strike plates with the extended guide rods guide the club through backswing and follow-through. Adjustable resistance can be added to the curved platform to assist strength training.

A golf swing training device is provided with a hoop positioned above and inclined relative to an operating surface; a support frame connected to and adapted to support the hoop; and a carriage. A training aid for use in developing putting mechanics is disclosed. The aid comprises a base that is placed on a practice putting surface. The base includes a guide rail shaped to describe two superimposed arcs that define the optimal 3-dimensional path for a putting stroke. The training aid includes a practice putter that has a notch in the base of the putter head that fits over the guide rail. The notch causes the putter head follow the path defined by the guide rail. Deviation from the optimal path results in friction between the notch and guide rail, which in turn provides tactile feedback to the user that they are off the optimal path. The device also includes features that allow for optimal placement of the golf ball relative to the intended line of the putt and marking to assist in gauging the distance the golf ball will travel.

A golf swing training apparatus and method of using the same. The swing training apparatus includes an orbital track and a carrier plate that connects a club shaft to the orbital track. The golf swing training apparatus guides the swing of the club shaft on a swing plan plane that is adjusted automatically to the golfer's anthropomorphic dimensions. A tension system provides a resistance during the golf swing to strengthen the muscles used in the golf swing. A portable device for practicing a golf putting stroke, includes: a base member having a front part and a rear part, where the rear part has an elongate opening; a lower elongate member having an auxiliary support with a first and second rails extending downward, the first and second rails detachably engaged into the first and second grooves; an upper elongate member having a protrusion where an elongate through-hole is vertically formed along the upper elongate member, the protrusion having a vertical elongate opening through an outer end of the protrusion; and a connecting member with a front end of the top part substantially opened side to side other than a first guide rail, the bottom part of the connecting member substantially opened front to rear other than a second guide rail.
