GOLF PRACTICE APPARATUS
A golf practice apparatus for putting and short game practices that includes a base, which includes a green portion, a hole, and a coupling groove; a mat which includes a first end portion and a second end portion; and a target assembly that includes a netting, a frame, and a connecting member. The second end portion is attached to the base, and the coupling groove of the base and the connecting member of the target assembly are constructed such that the connecting member is removably received in the coupling groove to secure the target assembly to the base.
PORTABLE PUTTING GREEN
A practice putting device that includes a rollable putting mat, a housing, and ball return arrangement.
Height-adjustable golf tee system
An adjustable height golf tee system having a tee and an anchor is discussed. The tee is height-adjustable relative to the anchor. A first anchor includes a cap, a stem, and a tip. The stem can be threaded internally, externally, or a combination thereof. A second anchor includes a base, a first stem, a cap, and a second stem as well as optional spacers. The stems can be threaded internally. Both the first and second anchors can be composed multiple pieces (e.g., a detachable cap, a detachable stem, or a detachable portion thereof) to provide access to an inner cavity of the respective stems.
HOME GOLF PUTTING GAME
A simulated golf putting green, including a base having an upper surface, lower surface and opposed side walls. A cup is cut into the base to enable golf balls putted thereto, to drop into the cup. A trough returns the golf ball to the starting position. The base is angularly inclined so that the putting is not “on flat.” A backstop enables an errant ball to be returned to the starting position.
GOLF GREEN TOPOGRAPHIC OVERLAY AND TARGET ASSIST APPARATUS
A golf green topographic overlay and target assist apparatus assists players develop their short game by demarking the fall line of a green on the low side of a target area or cup. The overlay includes a sight area which is placed over top of a target area or cup. The player shoots upon the green proper, the ball ending upon the overlay. If ending in the sight area, then the player has holed the shot. If the shot ends upon the overlay, but outside of the sight area, then the player has misjudged the break but has used the correct amount of force to properly hole the shot had the break been properly judged. The overlay is useful for practicing on actual greens where a player is apt to play.
PUTTING PRACTICE APPARATUS FOR EVALUATING STRIKING SPEED AND TEMPO OF PUTTER
A putting practice apparatus for evaluating the striking speed and tempo of a putter includes: an emitting unit (100) that emits light and is provided in a first sensor installation part; a light receiving unit (200) that receives the light emitted from the emitting unit (100); a speed detecting unit (300) and a position measuring unit (400) which respectively detect the speed and measure the position of the golf ball (1); a calculation control unit (500) for performing calculations in order to detect the initial position value of the golf ball (1) as measured by the position measuring unit (400) and the movement speed (Vb) and the moving distance (Hb) of the golf ball (1) as measured by the speed detecting unit (300); and a storage unit (600) for storing the measured speed (Vb) and the measured distance (Hb) of the golf ball (1).
Combined golf ball and turf for putting practice
A device including a center core, an outer layer that is configured to encase the center core, an artificial grass implement that is into engagement with the outer layer and that is configured to simulate a grass turf, and wherein the device is configured to be operable for practicing golf putting strategies or techniques.
Golf Swing Analyzer System
A golf swing analyzer system for analyzing a golfer's golf swing. An inertial measurement unit (IMU) may be used to capture data regarding the swing. The IMU may be oriented along a hosel-axis and a face-axis to reduce the complexity of calculations to determine the path of the swing. Two IMUs may be used to permit correction of captured data, different orientations of the IMUs to increase accuracy of captured data, and a doubling of the captured data. The IMU may include a magnetometer that cooperates with a magnet that is adapted to indicate the time at or near impact of the head of the golf club with the golf ball. An LED system provides visual information to a user regarding the swing while the swing is being made.
Baseball batting mat with front foot restraint
A sports training apparatus includes a flat mat having visible indicia adapted to indicate placement of at least one foot of a user of the apparatus, and a foot restraint adapted to hold a front foot of the user so that the front foot remains in contact with a top surface of the flat mat. The front foot is in an intended direction of a swing of a sports implement.
Putting practice assembly
A putting practice assembly for practicing putting on a variety of putting green conditions includes a putting mat that is longitudinally elongated to simulate a putting lane. The putting mat has a plurality of sections and each of the sections has a unique texture with respect to each other. In this way each of the sections facilitates a unique golf ball speed with respect to each other for practicing putting in a variety of putting green conditions.
