METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BASEBALL STRATEGY PLANNING BASED ON REINFORCEMENT LEARNING
A method and an apparatus for baseball strategy planning based on reinforcement learning are provided. The method includes steps below. Historical data of innings in past games of a team is collected. Multiple game states, multiple offensive and defensive actions, and multiple rewards corresponding to multiple offensive and defensive results are defined based on multiple offensive and defensive processes occurring during the game, and are used to establish a Q table. The Q table is updated according to multiple combinations of the game state, the offensive and defensive action, and the offensive and defensive result recorded in the historical data. According to a current game state, Q values of all offensive and defensive actions executable in the current game state recorded in the updated Q table are sorted, and the offensive and defensive action suitable for being executed in the current game state is recommended according to a sorting result.
Mr. Manager
Baseball coachs spend most of their time teaching children how to hit, throw and run the bases. Many of them do not have the time to teach the stragedies of the game.
MR. MANAGER is a card game that allows coach and parents to teach young players the difference between a safety squeeze and a suicide squeeze. Most little leaguers do not fully understand what a balk is or the difference between a wild pitch and a passed ball or how to execute the hit and run play.
MR. MANAGER puts players in the middle of the game and makes them think about the best way of winning a game. It makes them feel like they are actually the manager.
Portable indoor-outdoor board game
The invention comprises a game with a playing surface containing cups for receiving balls thrown by a player. In the skill portion of the game, a player scores points by accurately throwing the balls into the cups. If the player misses any of the cups, in a chance portion of the game, the playing surface is sloped to direct the ball to fall into compartments which provide additional benefits or to incur penalties. When playing the game with the baseball theme, a player may score runs by successfully throwing the ball into cups on the playing surface positioned at the first base, second base, third base, or home plate positions. Runners advancing past home plate score runs. Outs may be recorded for missing the cups. If the ball misses the cups, but falls into randomized compartments, the player may receive additional benefits or incur additional penalties.
Baseball game board
A baseball game board includes: a main body unit simulating a baseball stadium and including an upper surface plate; a pitching unit configured to pitch a ball to allow the ball to move while floating in air; a batting unit configured to hit the ball; and a selection unit configured to gradationally select a ball height of the ball at a time of passing through the batting unit. In accordance with a selection result of the selection unit, a trajectory of the ball shot from the pitching unit is changed.

BASEBALL BOARD GAME
A baseball board game and method for playing same, wherein the board game includes means for observing a field baseball game and the method includes watching a field baseball game and using the actions of the field baseball players to determine the movement of markers on the game board.
BASEBALL BOARD GAME
An example board game may include an infield game board and a fence. The fence may comprise one or more wall pieces that may be secured together and supported by stands such that the user may assemble and place the fence at any desired distance from the game board, such that the open space of the floor or other surface between the board and fence is the outfield. The game is played using user's existing baseball card collection placed around the field as players on defense and batters/runner on offense. A coin, disk, ball or other object may be the baseball, wherein players may hit and throw the ball by propelling it with their thumbs, e.g., the batter hits the ball into the field and the nearest to reach the ball before the runner reaches base may throw the ball to the base to record an out.
Table/parlour football
A table includes a table surface, a border, and an underside. A planar game board is disposed within the table, wherein the planar surface includes a plurality of scoring targets and a plurality of zones marked thereon. A simulated American football field piece is secured to the planar game board, so that playing pieces may pass underneath, across, over, or above the planar surface and simulated American football field piece. Play-indicating mechanisms are attached to the table. The play-indicating mechanisms are each configured to indicate one of a plurality of play options.
