On track an improved shoot the moon game
A game board comprising a tapered playing field with walls rising from a perimeter thereof. The board comprises open receptacles arranged in a pattern or randomly on the playing field. A triangular pattern extends from an apex adjacent to a first wall to a base adjacent to a second wall. Each of the receptacles comprise a depth and a diameter sufficient to capture a ball used in the game. A movable track comprising a pair of rods comprising first and second ends is disposed above the field. The first ends are attached to a pivot disposed on the first wall and the second ends are inserted through an elongate opening in the second wall. The track is inclined from the pivot ends. A ball placed on the track near the pivot ends is urged to travel uphill along the track and dropped into a receptacle by manipulating the rods.
DUAL PLATFORM PUZZLE GAME
Disclosed is a dual-board puzzle comprising a first game board portion; a second game board portion; and a plurality of playing pieces NP. The first game board portion and said second game board portion are mirror images of one another. Each game board portion includes a top surface having a number ND of depressions therein. The plurality of playing pieces NP equals the number of depressions ND −1.

GAME BOARD AND GAME APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
A game apparatus includes a first total number of playing-pieces and an article of manufacture including: a grid structure which is sufficiently flexible so as to be substantially conformable to a surface of a substrate on which the grid structure is disposable; apertures in the grid structure exposing corresponding portions of the surface of the substrate on which the grid structure is disposable; areas of the apertures being sized to accommodate corresponding playing-pieces of a game; and a second total number of the apertures being sufficient to accommodate the first total number of the playing-pieces.
Method to Play American Football Strategy Game
American football is unique among all team sports with respect to the level of coaching involvement in each play. The moment that coaches from both sides call the offensive and defensive play respectively, there's already a winner and a loser on paper. The key idea and original motive of this invention is to develop a football game algorithm to compare two play calls drawing on boards: one offense and one defense, and to predict what is the likely outcome for one scrimmage down. To make the game algorithm as close to reality as possible, many aspects need to be considered, which include but are not limited to: real football rules, real event sequence, information process logics, and balance among position players with similar role. The result of all the careful consideration is a football strategy game with three-stage algorithm for a scrimmage down.
GAME SURFACE SYSTEMS
Game surface systems configured to display a game sheet on a play surface. The game surface systems include a first module configured to support and protect the game sheet. The first module includes a back member and a cover sheet. The back member abuts the rear surface of the game sheet and is disposed between the game sheet and the play surface. The cover sheet abuts the display face of the game sheet and covers the game sheet. The game sheet includes a display face facing away from the play surface and a rear face facing the play surface. The cover sheet is coupled to the back member. In some examples, the game surface system includes a frame. In certain examples, the game surface system includes a transition module and a transition sheet.
BOOMERANG, XRAY CHESS VARIANTS
A new device and method for playing chess called the Boomerang chess is proposed in this invention. In boomerang chess, one or more pieces have boomerang powers, which is the Ability to capture an opponent piece (which is at a target square, reachable by the striking piece in a regular chess game), and return back to the its starting square in the same move! In one variant, the range of the boomerang can be limited. For example, the boomerang range of the bishop maybe limited to 4 squares etc. Other chess variants like Xray chess, Pool chess, magnetic chess etc. are also proposed in this invention.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR PLAYING BOARD GAME
A modified chess game is disclosed including a game board having 81 squares arranged in nine columns and nine rows, wherein the first and second rows respectively define outer and inner wards for first and second players. Example game pieces for each player include a king, a housecarl, a templar, two lancers, two archers, two priests, and eight sentries, having initial positions, from left to right along the first row, a first lancer, a first priest, a first archer, the housecarl, the king, the templar, a second archer, a second priest, and a second lancer, and from left to right along the second row, four sentries in the first four squares, an empty square, and the remaining four sentries in the last four squares.
Dice angle game
A dice angle game is played on an apparatus that has a playing surface, at least one side wall, at least one barrier within the playing area, at least one demarcated scoring area, at least one enhanced scoring area of sufficient size for at least one die to enter, and a plurality of dice. The game is played by rolling a dice against a side wall and trying to have it land in a scoring area.
Orientation dependent token and method for playing a game therewith
Apparatus and methods for playing an orientation-based tabletop game in which one or more game components have functions that vary depending on the orientation of the game component on the game board as compared to the physical location of player positions around the game board. As pieces rotate during the course of play, functional indicators on the game pieces alter the rules or functions of the game piece in the game with respect to each player, depending upon the orientation of the game piece in relation to each player.
