Educational Card Game for Chess
An educational card game that teaches chess and has a plurality of decks. Each deck has a character that teaches lessons about chess and then later applies the lessons via puzzles for the user to solve. The puzzle cards have solutions in chess notation, and a unique card is dedicated to teach chess notation. The cards offer annotation and visual aids to simplify complex chess strategies, tactics, and more in flashcard format. Each card is color coded and numbered for simple navigation and difficulty deciphering. A single card is dedicated to teach chess notation and is used as a reference card to help understand other cards that include chess notation.
CHESSBOARD WITH BATTLE ZONE
A chessboard defines a first longitudinal edge, a second longitudinal edge, a lateral axis of symmetry bisecting the chessboard into two lateral halves, and a top surface extending between the longitudinal edges, the top surface defining a plurality of chessboard squares. The plurality of chessboard squares defines a plurality of ranks, each rank extending as a single row of chessboard squares from the first longitudinal edge to the second longitudinal edge. Ranks adjacent to the lateral axis of symmetry define two central ranks that together comprise a battle zone. Chessboard squares located outside of the battle zone define a first color scheme in which the chessboard squares located outside the battle zone alternate between a first color and a second color different from the first color. Chessboard squares in the plurality of chessboard squares located within the battle zone define a second color scheme differing from the first color scheme.
IOT ENHANCED EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM
An IoT enhanced educational system is to be operated by a user, and includes a learning aid unit, a positioning unit and a processing unit. The learning aid unit includes a plurality of objects that are configured to be moved by the user. The positioning unit is configured to determine a position of each of the objects and to generate position data associated with the positions of the objects. The processing unit is electrically connected to the positioning unit for receiving therefrom the position data, and is configured to generate, according to the positions of the objects contained in the position data, an assessment associated with the user.
Chess game with position-triggered consequence cards
A chess game kit includes a chessboard defining opposed edges, a lateral axis of symmetry bisecting the chessboard, and a top surface extending between the opposed edges. The top surface defines a plurality of chessboard squares defining a plurality of ranks. The ranks adjacent to the lateral axis of symmetry define two central ranks that together comprise a battle zone. Chessboard squares located outside of the battle zone alternate between a first color and a second color, and chessboard squares located within the battle zone alternate between the first color and a third color. The kit further includes a plurality of cards each reciting a chess game consequence to occur as a result of a player moving a capturing chess piece from a first chessboard position outside of the battle zone to a second chessboard position inside the battle zone to capture an opposing chess piece.
Apparatus, System and Method for an Electronically Assisted Chessboard
An electronic chess set includes a plurality of conductive chess pieces, a chessboard having a playing surface including a plurality of individually identifiable locations visible to a user on the chessboard, and an electronic system including a capacitive sensing system. In some embodiments, the capacitive sensing system is configured to determine for each of the plurality of individually identifiable locations: when a chess piece included in the plurality of conductive chess pieces is located at a respective one of the plurality of individually identifiable locations and user-contact with the chess piece is absent; when the chess piece located at the respective one of the plurality of individually identifiable locations is in contact with the user; and when each of the plurality of conductive chess pieces is absent from the respective one of the plurality of individually identifiable locations.
Chess games with chance elements
The present disclosure describes a new game based upon the conventional game of chess. The new game includes a chessboard, chessmen, dice, and a custom set of the images of the six possible chessmen types taken in combinations of two, three, four, or five depending upon the game. This new game puts more challenge and variety into the game of chess.
Chess system and method of use
A chess game method includes providing a standard chess board having squares of alternating colors; providing a first set of chess pieces of a first color and a second set of chess pieces of a second color; arranging the first set of chess pieces in a first corner of the standard chess board such that a king of the first set of chess pieces is in the corner; and arranging the second set of chess pieces in the second corner of the standard chess board such that a king of the second set of chess pieces is in the second corner; the first corner is directly opposite the second corner.
Three-dimensional chess set, gameboard and storage tray
A three-dimensional chess set includes a three-dimensional chess gameboard having a multi-tiered playing surface, and a three-dimensional tray for storing chess playing pieces within the three-dimensional chess gameboard.
