Multi-dimensional puzzle
The invention generally relates to multi-dimensional puzzles for teaching, entertainment, and construction. One embodiment of the invention comprises two forms, one planar and one non-planar, which comprise a plurality of protrusions and recesses. These forms may be assembled by selectively interconnecting the various protrusions and recesses to create multi-dimensional shapes such as a cube, cylinder, and sphere among many other possibilities.
Polycube Games, Systems, and Methods
Polycube-based puzzles are disclosed. Three-dimensional Sudoku-like puzzles using polycubes of various sizes and dimensions, where the cubes making up each polycube have visually identifiable features on all sides such that sets of polycubes can be created to facilitate the Sudoku-like puzzle game. Polycube-based puzzles using sets of polycubes arranged in different configurations where each side of a resulting combination of a set of polycubes has no repeated visual identifier.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL PUZZLE GAME AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF PLAYING THE SAME
A three-dimensional puzzle game that is fun and cooperatively involves excitement, competition, strategy, skill, and luck, generally including the comprising the steps of: (a) providing three-dimensional puzzle pieces that are originally oriented in a random pattern; (b) providing a solution template that collectively corresponds to a surface of each one of the three-dimensional puzzle pieces; (c) shaking and rolling the three-dimensional puzzle pieces onto a surface; (d) isolating all three-dimensional puzzle pieces that have a surface that correspond to the solution template; (e) collecting all three-dimensional puzzle pieces that do not have a surface that corresponds to the solution template; (f) repeating the steps of shaking, rolling, isolating, and collecting until all of the three-dimensional puzzle pieces have a surface that corresponds to the solution template; and (g) arranging all of the three-dimensional puzzle pieces to conform with the solution template to, in turn, solve the puzzle.
NO-FLIP JIGSAW PUZZLE
A jigsaw-type puzzle has pieces that do not need to be flipped or turned prior to, or during assembly of the puzzle. The pieces have peripheral shapes or outlines that are symmetrical along at least one axis, with mirror images being printed on both sides of each piece so that either side of each piece can be used during assembly. Each piece shows a portion of a two-dimensional image, such that when the pieces are assembled, the two-dimensional image is completed. Each piece has first and second sides, with each piece portraying the same portion of the two-dimensional design, such that either side of any piece can be used to complete the puzzle. The invention is applicable to edge pieces, corner pieces and inner pieces, including square pieces with rounded tabs and voids that “interlock,” as well as non-traditional shapes, with or without interlocking joints, and tabs and voids with other shapes.
Puzzle set and method thereof
A puzzle set comprises a plurality of cubes, each configured with a drawing at one or more of its facets; and an interface configured to cause the cubes to be positioned one adjacent to the other while permitting a change in disposition and rotational state of any of the cubes. The drawings are designed to allow continuation of one another, by which viewable contiguous facets define together a composite symbol, upon positioning the cubes in accordance with a predetermined arrangement. At least one of the facets is rotatable in relation to other facets when the cubes are positioned one adjacent to the other, allowing rotation of its drawing without separating the cubes. In a method for generating a viewable object, a facet is displaced and rotated until the drawing on each of the viewable contiguous facets are in continuation of one another to define together the viewable object.
Intelligence toy used with graph cards
An intelligence toy used with graph cards, comprising: a base, a building block base, a building block set, and at least one graph card. The building block base includes twenty five perforations, the building blocks consist of six different building blocks, each consisting of 3 to 5 block units, and the graph card includes at least one mark, the mark corresponds to the perforation of the building block base above and is visible through the perforation, and then the six building blocks are arranged in the twenty five perforations of the building block base corresponding to the marks, whereby a variety of games are displayed through the different marks displayed on the graph card, providing to young children aged 3-6 in order to understand and operate, and to achieve the effect of inspired intelligence.
Educational game box
A game box for storing game properties and for single-player or two-player game, comprises a first box body, comprising a first base and a first building block base, the first base is provided with a first holding space, the first building block base covers the top of the first base, both ends of rear side are pin connected to both ends of rear side of the first base; an inserting holder, arranged at one end of the first box body, and there is a slot in the top surface of the inserting holder; at least one card, which can be inserted into the slot, and a pattern is printed on the surface of the card; and a first building block set, which can be laid in the locating recess holes of the first building block base.
Puzzle and associated use thereof
A puzzle includes a cube-shaped box having a cavity therein, a plurality of rhombus-shaped members detachably engaged to each other, and a plurality of pyramid-shaped members detachably engaged to the rhombus-shaped members. The rhombus-shaped members are intercalated between the pyramid-shaped members such that a combination of the rhombus-shaped members and the pyramid-shaped members collectively have a cube-shaped arrangement removably fitted inside the cavity of the cube-shaped box. At least two of the pyramid-shaped members are situated at a top-most region of the cavity of the cube-shaped box.
Multifaced 3-D Puzzle Building Blocks
Our invention provides an improved set of multi-faced building blocks with the following characteristics: 1) softer edges designed to increase friction of the blocks during the construction process; 2) faces that allow mounting different tiles with variety of designs which provide hints guiding construction of solutions, allowing player to complete puzzles; and 3) mountable tiles that code each face of the building block in order to increase the number of visible solutions within one set of blocks, making the puzzle more versatile. Our invention lets players create and code their own new unique solutions using the mountable tiles. Our invention also allows the player to recognize and track each new solution using the design elements depicted on the mountable tiles. The proposed invention can develop spatial reasoning skills of players and can be used for education or entertainment.
Construction Craft with Connectable Base Plates
A toy construction craft utilizing construction elements including modular building blocks comprises a base plate usable with a template that directs the user to create a scene and/or usable with a base joiner that enables multiple base plates to be removably connected to form a larger playing surface. The base plate comprises a flat base and an outer flange. The flat base includes a substantially planar building surface configured with forward-facing coupling studs for being interconnected with toy building elements having complementary coupling means, and the flat base includes rearward-facing protrusions that can interface with the template and/or with the base joiner. Additional optional accessories and specialized blocks are also provided, including one or more graphic segments and a frame.
