GAME SYSTEM COMPRISING ROUNDED TOKENS OF DIFFERENT SETS AND BOARD WITH BUMPER ARRAY AND COLLECTION CHUTES
A game system and related method comprise releasing playing tokens of visually distinguishable sets associated with different players in turn into a game board forming a generally vertically extending playing zone, so that the playing tokens move downwardly through an array of bumpers in the playing zone, which are arranged to deflect the playing tokens to randomize movement thereof, and collect in a token collection zone below the array of bumpers, which comprises a plurality of side-by-side chutes configured to receive the playing tokens, until a prescribed plural number of the playing tokens of a common one of the sets are located in a line in the token collection zone to define an initial winning set.
Play apparatus
A play apparatus has a pair of devices. Each device has: a capture arrangement such as a cavity to capture an object such as a ball; an object detector to detect that the object has been captured; a transmission module to transmit a release signal; a receiver module to receive a release signal; and a release actuator to release the captured object. A first device detects capture of a first object, transmits a first release signal to cause a second device to release a second object. The first device withholds the first object until releasing it responsive to receipt of a second release signal indicating that another object has been captured by the second device.
Dynamic gameboard
A dynamic gameboard comprising an electronic control system and a board having a plurality of dynamic board pieces, wherein the electronic control system includes a server, lift control board and a user interface, the server having a first processor, a first memory, and a first communication device, wherein instructions are stored on the first memory to cause the first processor to direct the lift control board to instruct the plurality of dynamic board pieces to move between a first position and a second position, and between the second position and the first position, where the first position is a fully extended up position and the second position is a fully recessed down position; the lift control board having a second processor, a second memory, and a second communication device, and the user interface having a third processor, a third memory, and a third communication device.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LOCATING 3-D OBJECTS AND EXECUTING DESIRED OPERATION, SUCH AS PLAYING CAROM, BY ROBOT
An apparatus and a method to locate a three dimensional object and to execute a predetermined operation on said object, such as playing carom is disclosed. The apparatus includes a robot (200) having an end effect or (202) mounted on a gantry frame. The apparatus further includes a plurality of imaging sensors mounted at predetermined positions in said gantry frame. A data processing system (computer) (214) is provided in communication with said robot (200) and said imaging sensors. Further a controller 216 connected to said data processing system (214) to regulate the functions of said data processing system. The end-effect or (202) provided in the robot (200) consists of at least two degrees of freedom, one for rotational (302) and other for transmitting force (306a).
Electronic tournament gaming tabletop
An electronic tournament gaming tabletop for use with ping pong, beer pong, or other tabletop games. The table includes a means for entering each player's name and keeping the list of players. The player names and scores are displayed on the surface of the table for use in a tournament. The table may implement a rule of winner remains, advancing the list when an end-game signal is entered by the players, or a bracket. When the feature is specified, usage can be automatically tracked and directly communicated with a cloud system for the accurate tracking and sharing of gameplay information including time of use, while personal identifying information such as names will remain on the device, be erased upon power-off, and never be sent over the internet.
GAMES PLAYED WITH ROBOTS
A robotic gaming system is provided that includes a plurality of modular wall sections placed on playing surface. At least one robot is controlled by a player to navigate on the playing surface and interact with a plurality of scoring elements on the walls. A sensor associated with a scoring elements identifies when the robot successfully interacts with the scoring element to score a point.
Edgelit light guide device with prisms forming first and second sub patterns
A display includes a light guide plate having an incident edge surface and an output surface; a plurality of light sources arranged opposed to the incident edge surface; and a plurality of prisms arranged in a main pattern on a surface, each prism having a reflective surface configured to reflect light from any of the plurality of light sources towards the output surface. A curvature of the reflective surface of a first prism arranged in a first sub-pattern of the main pattern, is different from a curvature of the reflective surface of a second prism arranged in a second sub-pattern of the main pattern.
Automated Runway Loop for Aerial Projectile
An automated runway loop including a u-shaped runway, wherein the runway is configured to support an aerial projectile with the runway having a discharging end and a receiving end. The runway has a support attached to the runway and to a motor capable of extending and retracting the runway along an axis. At least one sensor is positioned along the runway and configured to provide at least one output indicative of at least one parameter of the aerial projectile. A computer is connected to the sensors and the motor, the computer controlling energization of the motor based at least in part on an indicated parameter of the aerial projectile, where the energization of the motor causes the aerial projectile to be discharged from one end of the runway and to be received at the other end of the runway.
DISPLAY DEVICE AND GAME MACHINE
A display is disclosed that may include: a light guide plate having an incident surface; and light sources arranged opposed to the incident surface. The light guide plate may include a plurality of prisms arranged in a pattern on a surface on one side and may have a reflective surface configured to reflect light from any of the plurality of light sources incident into the light guide plate from the incident surface, to be emitted from an outgoing surface on another side of the light guide plate. A curvature of the surface on one side of the reflective surface and of a first prism arranged in a first sub-pattern included in the pattern among the plurality of prisms is different from a curvature of the surface on one side and of a second prism arranged in a second sub-pattern.
