MESH FILTER FOR FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM OF VEHICLE
A mesh filter for a fuel system of a vehicle may include: a frame for maintaining a shape thereof; a mesh member coupled to the frame so as to remove foreign substances contained in fuel, where the mesh member includes a first mesh member and a second mesh member; and an opening unit for opening and closing a fuel path in the first mesh member. In particular, the second mesh member has a mesh size smaller than a mesh size of the first mesh member such that the mesh filter inhibits clogging of the mesh filter with paraffin wax.
WATER PURIFICATION HOUSING AND RAINWATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM USING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a water purification housing capable of purifying water and a rainwater purification system using the same. The water purification housing according to the present invention comprises a means that can filter treated water by filling filter media in a housing body and then passing the treated water through the filter media and a mean that can remove residue caught in the filter media as a result of the use of the filter media by collecting the residue in a sediment discharge container positioned at a bottom portion of the housing body. The rainwater purification system according to the present invention comprises a means that connects and installs several water purification housings and an additional filtration means including fiber filter and UV lamp which can filter materials that cannot be filtered only by the filter media at the end thereof.
AN APPARATUS FOR FILTERING AMNIOTIC FLUID
An apparatus for filtering amniotic fluid containing particulate matter and amniotic cells is disclosed, comprising a filter for filtering the particulate matter from the amniotic fluid, a chamber enclosing the filter, wherein the chamber comprises a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and an inlet connector arranged to form a sealing connection between the fluid inlet and an amniotic fluid sample source, wherein, in use, the amniotic fluid pass the filter when flowing from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet, whereby particulate matter is deposited on the filter and the amniotic fluid flows through the fluid outlet containing amniotic cells.
Liquid Treatment Device
An embodiment of this disclosure provides a liquid treatment device, provided at a carbon block used for post-treating a liquid treated by the carbon block. The liquid treatment device includes: a housing; a cover; a sealing portion; a lower treatment unit; and an upper treatment unit. The liquid treatment device and the carbon block may be detachably mounted mutually, thereby enabling the liquid treatment device to be replaced independent of the carbon block. Furthermore, the liquid treatment device includes an upper treatment unit and a lower treatment unit, and a liquid inlet is provided in the housing of the liquid treatment device, thereby making distribution of the liquid flow in the carbon block more uniform.
Method and apparatus for filtering contaminated water
A method for forming a filter for passing contaminated water using a device and one or more media. The device comprises of one or more elements that are capable of undergoing degradation. The increased area available for flow is obtained by adding a first media to predetermined areas of the device and allowing the elements to undergo degradation to bring about an increase in the area available for passing the contaminated water.
GLASS CARTRIDGE FILTERS ESPECIALLY USEFUL AS PART OF WATER-CIRCULATION SYSTEMS OF SWIMMING POOLS OR SPAS
Modular, stackable filter units are described. The units may contain particles of glass or other filtration material and may be used to cleanse debris-laden water of, for example, swimming pools or spas. They additionally may replace conventional pleated mesh filters and beds of sand if necessary or desired.
Integrated grommet filter
A diesel engine aftertreatment system is disclosed. The aftertreatment system includes a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) injection system including a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) device, a DEF tank connected to the SCR device, a DEF injection device installed in the tank, and an integrated grommet filter. The integrated grommet filter includes a grommet having a top gasket portion and a bottom cylindrical skirt portion. The cylindrical skirt portion is integrally connected to a sock filter. In an embodiment, the integral connection between the skirt portion and the sock filter includes an overlap and stitching. In an embodiment, the gasket is a star shaped gasket.
Water softening device for use for a pet
A water softening device for use for a pet is provided, comprising: a first chamber having a shape of a hollow container; a second chamber having a shape of a hollow container, the second chamber being detachably attached to an upper section inside the first chamber; and a filter cartridge having a plurality of openings and containing an ion exchange resin therein, the filter cartridge being detachably attached to a bottom section of the second chamber and positioned to protrude from the bottom section of the second chamber to a lower section inside the first chamber. The second chamber is configured to receive and contain first water including tap water, and the lower section inside the first chamber is configured to receive and contain second water that is the first water after passing through the filter cartridge based on gravity.
Method and apparatus for filtering stormwater
A device and method for increasing the area available for passing contaminated stormwater through a granular media. The device comprises of one or more elements of predetermined size and shape. The increased area available for flow is obtained by introducing a first media into predetermined areas of the device, introducing a second media into predetermined areas of the device, and bringing into contact the first and second media.
