HORIZONTALLY FED DISK GRINDING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A horizontally fed disk grinding system includes a tray coupled to a trailer for receiving bulk material. The system further includes a grind hub coupled to the trailer and a cutter disk coupled to the grind hub. The grind hub is structured to rotate about a grind hub axis and the cutter disk is structured to rotate about a cutter disk axis and about the grind hub axis. A grind ring is coupled to the trailer and is structured to slide to engage the grind hub during use. A plurality of plates are coupled to the tray and structured to oscillate to feed material from the tray to the grind hub and the cutter disk, where the material is reduced to particulate form. The grind hub further includes an outlet and a conveyor rotatably coupled to the trailer to convey the particulate material away from the outlet to a selected location.

Impact crusher
An impact crusher for grinding and separating solid material has a base and a rotor on the base having an upright shaft defining an upright rotor axis about which the rotor is rotatable and a plurality of vertically spaced and radially horizontally outwardly extending plates each having an outer periphery. A drum fixed on the base spacedly surrounds the rotor. An array of axially extending and angularly substantially equispaced replaceable ribs is provided on an inner surface of the drum. A respective plurality of impact hammers are angularly substantially equispaced around the outer periphery of each of the disks. Respective mounting pivots support the hammers on the outer peripheries of the plates for pivoting about respective hammer axes parallel to the rotor axis so that rotation of the rotor grinds material between the hammers and the ribs. Formations between the mounting pivots and the respective disks enable radial adjustment and fixing of the hammer axes relative to the rotor axis.

CERAMIC-METAL COMPOSITE WEAR PART
The present disclosure relates to a wear part made in a foundry. The wear part has a reinforced portion comprising a ferrous alloy reinforced with metal carbides, nitrides, borides, or intermetallic alloys. The reinforced portion includes inserts of metal carbides, nitrides, metal, or intermetallic compounds manufactured beforehand with a defined geometry and inserted into an infiltrable structure of agglomerated grains including the reagents needed for the formation of metal or intermetallic carbides, nitrides, borides according to an in situ self-propagating thermal reaction initiated during the casting of the ferrous alloy.

WASTE TREATMENT DEVICE AND RELATED MOUNTING METHOD
A waste treatment device for separating recyclable material from other waste comprising: —a first substantially cylindrical cavity inside which the waste to be treated is introduced; —a shaft, rotating about its axis, in the centre of the cylindrical cavity; —screening meshes which separate the cylindrical cavity from a second underlying cavity inside which waste material is collected; —hammers attached at a first end to the shaft so as to be able to rotate in a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the shaft. The hammers are provided with a respective scraper terminating in an edge remaining directed in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of the rotating shaft and projecting longitudinally beyond the end of the hammer so as to pass at a nominal minimum distance from the screening mesh. A related mounting method for a waste treatment device is also disclosed.

Striking tool and rotor fitted therewith for a machine for crushing metal objects or stone materials
A striking tool for crushing metal objects or stone materials, manufactured from an iron-based material and including a bearing section, into which a bearing opening provided for the freely swinging mounting of the striking tool on a metallic shaft is formed with an inner circumferential surface surrounding the bearing opening, and including a striking section, which is exposed to a striking load by contact with the material to be crushed, and a rotor for a machine for crushing metal objects or stone materials, including at least one metallic shaft, on which at least one formed striking tool is mounted with its bearing opening, with there being metallic frictional contact between the outer circumferential surface of the shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the bearing opening of the striking tool. The striking tool allows, the danger of excess wear in the region of its bearing opening to be minimized.
