A GYRATORY CRUSHER, A METHOD FOR ROTATING AN UPPER CRUSHER FRAME AND A RETROFITTING KIT
A gyratory crusher for comminution of material fed into the crusher. The gyratory crusher includes an upper crusher frame for supporting one or more wear parts. The upper crusher frame is configurable between an operation mode and a rotation mode. The gyratory crusher further includes a lower crusher frame, wherein the upper crusher frame in the operation mode is in engagement with the lower crusher frame. The gyratory crusher further includes a rotation device configured to rotate the upper crusher frame in relation to the lower crusher frame. The rotation device includes a gear ring configured to be rotatable relative to the lower crusher frame around a vertical axis. A method, and a retrofitting kit, for rotating an upper crusher frame of a gyratory crusher relative to a lower crusher frame of the gyratory crusher are also disclosed.
Gyratory crusher topshell
A gyratory crusher topshell having an annular shell wall that is strengthened to minimize stress concentrations and increase the topshell operational lifetime. The topshell includes spider arms that are structurally reinforced at their radially inner regions and also has an annular wall that is reinforced at regions immediately below the spider arms to further increase strength and facilitate casting.

Gyratory crusher bottomshell with inspection hatch assembly
A gyratory crusher bottomshell and inspection hatch assembly is attachable exclusively to the bottomshell via a wear plate positioned at an internal region of the bottomshell. A wall thickness of the bottomshell at a border region immediately surrounding the hatch opening is generally equal to or less than a wall thickness over a remainder region of the wall at the same axial height position of the hatch opening.
Method and system for treating municipal solid waste
A method for treating process material using a plurality of autoclaves, wherein each of the plurality of autoclaves cycles through the following: introducing steam from one or more of the plurality of autoclaves into an interior of a vessel; increasing the temperature within the vessel by adding heat to the interior of the vessel using an indirect heat source; reducing the temperature and pressure within the vessel by flashing a portion of the steam within the interior of the vessel to another one of the plurality autoclaves; increasing the temperature within the vessel by continuing to add heat to the interior of the vessel using the indirect heat source; and reducing a moisture content of the process material in the interior of vessel to a predetermined value by venting a remaining portion of the steam to another one of the plurality of autoclaves.
Gyratory crusher main shaft sleeve
A gyratory crusher main shaft sleeve friction fit over an uppermost end of a crusher main shaft. The sleeve includes an elongate axial wall for being positioned in contact with an outward facing surface of the main shaft. The axial wall has a thickness that decreases in a direction from a second upper end to a first lower end, wherein the internal facing surface of the sleeve extends transverse to a longitudinal axis of the sleeve so as to taper inwardly towards the axis in a direction from the first to the second end.

Gyratory chrusher frame
A gyratory crusher frame part includes a topshell mountable on a bottom shell, the topshell having an annular wall extending around a longitudinal axis. A spider having a plurality of arms extending radially outward from a cap is positioned at the longitudinal axis. Each arm has a first portion extending in a radially outward direction from the cap and a second portion extending in an axial direction from an outer region of the first portion. An annular flange is positioned between the second portion of each arm and the annular wall. The annular wall is defined between an outward and inward facing surface of the annular wall. A section of the wall neighboring the flange includes a concave section at the outward facing surface. A first half of the concave section closest to the flange is a substantially uniform curve extending continuously in the circumferential direction around the longitudinal axis.

SPIDER ARM SHIELD
A gyratory crusher spider arm shield for releasable mounting to a spider arm is mounted in a position above and around the spider arm via locating feet and is maintained in the position by a fixating ring extending circumferentially around the spider arms and positioned at and above a perimeter of the spider.
