Device for comminuting loose feed material
A device for comminuting feed material with first comminuting tools and second comminuting tools, which are arranged inside a housing coaxially to an axis and which are axially spaced apart to form a comminuting zone, and of which at least the first comminuting tools perform a rotational movement about the axis. In a contact area between a first tool carrier and the first comminuting tools and/or in a contact area between a second tool carrier and the second comminuting tools a plurality of channels for the passage of a process gas are provided. The channels each have a radially inner inlet opening through which the process gas enters the channels and a radially outer outlet opening through which the process gas emerges from the channels. Among other things, this achieves improved cooling of the comminuting zone.
Device for comminuting loose feed material
A device for comminuting feed material with first comminuting tools and second comminuting tools, which are arranged inside a housing coaxially to an axis and which are axially spaced apart to form a comminuting zone, and of which at least the first comminuting tools perform a rotational movement about the axis. In a contact area between a first tool carrier and the first comminuting tools and/or in a contact area between a second tool carrier and the second comminuting tools a plurality of channels for the passage of a process gas are provided. The channels each have a radially inner inlet opening through which the process gas enters the channels and a radially outer outlet opening through which the process gas emerges from the channels. Among other things, this achieves improved cooling of the comminuting zone.
Refiner disc and hub assembly
An assembly comprising an annular hub with a hub inner surface and a hub outer surface and a rotary third refining member having a central opening within a refining member inner surface. The refining member has at least two equally spaced apart member portions extending radially inwardly from the member inner surface, and the assembly includes a key for connecting the member portions to the hub. The assembly also include an annular cover plate with at least two radially extending spaced apart flanges, each flange overlying a member portion, and at least two spaced apart port plates, each port plate overlying a member portion side opposite the annular cover plate, the spaces between the at least two port plates defining ports from a first stock flow path to a second stock flow path.

A refiner for refining of lignocellulosic material includes a rotor disc and a stator disc. The rotor disc includes a first refining segment that includes a plurality of first protruding structures for grinding of the lignocellulosic material. Each of the first protruding structures is defined by a first height. The stator disc is arranged opposite the rotor disc and includes a second refining segment that includes a plurality of second protruding structures for grinding of the lignocellulosic material. Each of the second protruding structures being defined by a second height. The first height is at least three times larger than the second height.
Refiner for refining lignocellulosic material and refining segments for such a refiner
A refiner for refining of lignocellulosic material includes a rotor disc and a stator disc. The rotor disc includes a first refining segment that includes a plurality of first protruding structures for grinding of the lignocellulosic material. Each of the first protruding structures is defined by a first height. The stator disc is arranged opposite the rotor disc and includes a second refining segment that includes a plurality of second protruding structures for grinding of the lignocellulosic material. Each of the second protruding structures being defined by a second height. The first height is at least three times larger than the second height.

A device for grinding coffee beans includes a body provided with a vertical hopper for the entry of the coffee beans and a separate vertical outlet for the ground coffee, which are mutually connected by way of a horizontal seat within which a shaft is associated axially and rotatably. A first grinder is keyed to the shaft and interacts with a facing second grinder. These grinders cooperate with elements adapted to allow a first, micro-adjustment and a second, macro-adjustment of the grinding as a function of the type of coffee beans selected.

A device for comminuting ore and/or slag is contemplated. The device may be comprising an ore feeding unit for feeding ore which is to be comminuted to a first pulverizer, said first pulverizer being composed of at least of two comminuting elements which can be moved relative to each other, said elements forming together at least one comminuting space for the ore which is to be comminuted, such that, by a relative movement in the form of a rotation about the rotational axis of at least one of the two comminuting elements the ore which is to be comminuted is at least partially pulverized. One or more accelerating elements, in particular protrusions, are provided on at least one of the comminuting elements, said accelerating elements being arranged in particular on the end face of at least one of the two comminuting elements and accelerating and comminuting the ore to be comminuted by the rotation of one of the two comminuting elements. An intermediate space is provided between the two comminuting elements and/or in at least one of the two comminuting elements, through which space the pulverized ore, during the rotation, is transported from the center of rotation toward the outside and away from the two comminuting elements. At least one of the two comminuting elements is operatively connected to a hydraulic spring pressure device, said hydraulic spring pressure device being designed such that the comminuting element to which it is operatively connected is variably resiliently mounted in the direction of the other comminuting element depending on an adjustable hydraulic spring pressure control unit.
APPARATUS FOR COMMINUTING ORE, COMPRISING A HYDRAULIC SPRING DEVICE, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A device for comminuting ore and/or slag is contemplated. The device may be comprising an ore feeding unit for feeding ore which is to be comminuted to a first pulverizer, said first pulverizer being composed of at least of two comminuting elements which can be moved relative to each other, said elements forming together at least one comminuting space for the ore which is to be comminuted, such that, by a relative movement in the form of a rotation about the rotational axis of at least one of the two comminuting elements the ore which is to be comminuted is at least partially pulverized. One or more accelerating elements, in particular protrusions, are provided on at least one of the comminuting elements, said accelerating elements being arranged in particular on the end face of at least one of the two comminuting elements and accelerating and comminuting the ore to be comminuted by the rotation of one of the two comminuting elements. An intermediate space is provided between the two comminuting elements and/or in at least one of the two comminuting elements, through which space the pulverized ore, during the rotation, is transported from the center of rotation toward the outside and away from the two comminuting elements. At least one of the two comminuting elements is operatively connected to a hydraulic spring pressure device, said hydraulic spring pressure device being designed such that the comminuting element to which it is operatively connected is variably resiliently mounted in the direction of the other comminuting element depending on an adjustable hydraulic spring pressure control unit.

The problem of increased energy usage in refiners over the working life of a refining assembly is mitigated by the use of a refiner plate segment having a refiner side and a back side distally disposed from the refiner side, refiner bars engaged to a substrate of the refiner side, wherein the refiner bars have a refiner bar height, and wherein adjacent refiner bars and the substrate define grooves between the adjacent bars, and protrusions disposed in the grooves, wherein the protrusions have a protrusion height, wherein the protrusion height is 30% or less of the refiner bar height.
