A shower head includes a handle and a head portion. The head portion includes shower holes. The handle includes an upstream bubble generator that generates minute bubbles in water. The head portion includes a downstream bubble generator that generates minute bubbles in water in the same manner as the upstream bubble generator. The upstream bubble generator includes a constriction and a tapered portion. The downstream bubble generator has a swirling flow mode. Since minute bubbles are generated on the upstream and downstream sides, the amount of minute bubbles mixed in water becomes larger. This allows for showering by effectively using the function of minute bubbles.

Device for Controlling Shape of Discharged Liquid
20230058580 · 2023-02-23 ·

A device for controlling the shape of discharged liquid comprises a liquid inlet end and a liquid outlet end. A passage allowing liquid to flow therein is disposed between the liquid inlet end and the liquid outlet end. The liquid outlet end comprises a liquid outlet in a rotationally symmetric shape. The liquid inlet end comprises a liquid inlet formed in one end of the passage. A liquid outlet channel is disposed between the liquid outlet and the other end of the passage and communicated with the passage. Cross-sections of different positions of the liquid outlet channel in a liquid outlet direction are of a rotationally symmetric shape corresponding to the shape of the liquid outlet. Through the liquid outlet in a rotationally symmetric shape and the corresponding liquid outlet channel, a discharged liquid column has a special shape under the acting force of liquid molecules in air.

A nozzle of a fire suppression system includes a housing. Two or more orifices in the housing emit a fire suppression agent. Each of the two or more orifices emits the fire suppression agent in a rotational vortex.

Methods and systems for destabilizing foam in equipment downstream of a submerged combustion melter

Methods and systems for de-stabilizing foam produced in submerged combustion melters. A molten mass of glass and bubbles is flowed into an apparatus downstream of a submerged combustion melter. The downstream apparatus includes a floor, a roof and a wall connecting the floor and roof, but is devoid of submerged combustion burners and other components that would increase turbulence of the molten mass. The molten mass has foam on at least a portion of a top surface of the molten mass. One method includes directly impinging an impinging composition onto at least a portion of the foam in the downstream apparatus. Systems for carrying out the methods are described.

Nozzle tips with reduced cleaning time
11612902 · 2023-03-28 · ·

The invention relates to nozzle tips including a nozzle body and a tip portion, configured to minimize the accumulation of a resin on the nozzle tip as it is dispensed through the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can contain a central flow channel and an internal portion that branches and guides the resin into multiple exiting flow channels that define tangential pathways to the outer surface of the nozzle tip. The nozzle tip can include grooves that define extended, sharply angled flow paths for the resin. Nozzle tips can have a neck portion separating a nozzle body and a tip end of the nozzle tip; here, a doughnut-shaped space located around the neck portion can be defined by the base of the nozzle, the crown of the nozzle, and the neck portion, for encouraging turbulent flow of the resin to scour the nozzle tip during dispensing.

Sustained duration trigger sprayers and methods for making the same

A sustained duration trigger sprayer capable of dispensing at least 3 mL of product over a time period of about 3 seconds utilizing a force-to-actuate of between about 10 pounds and about 15 pounds. The trigger sprayer includes an enlarged piston bore and piston and an elongated trigger lever creating a high output fluid displacement with a 0.5 inch displacement distance. The container bottle and/or the sprayer shroud are contoured to provide a gripping area opposing the terminal end of the trigger lever wherein the gripping distance in from the gripping area to the terminal end of the trigger lever is no greater than 3.3 inches.

VORTEX RING GENERATION DEVICE

A vortex ring generation device is configured to release an airflow in a form of a vortex ring from a release port. The vortex ring generation device includes a plurality of gas chamber units, an actuator, and a communication path. Each gas chamber unit has an air chamber that communicates with the release port. Each gas chamber units includes a fixing member forming the air chamber, and a movable member moving to push air out of the air chamber. The movable members of all of the gas chamber units are coupled together to form one movable body. The actuator is connected to an end portion of the movable body and is configured to drive the movable body. The communication path allows the air chambers of the plurality of gas chamber units to communicate with each other.

UREA SOLUTION INJECTION DEVICE INTEGRATED WITH MIXER

A urea solution injection device includes an exhaust pipe for discharging exhaust gas generated in a combustion chamber to the exterior; an injector is installed and pierces into the exhaust pipe to inject urea solution into the exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust pipe. A catalyst is disposed at a position after the injector when viewed in a flow direction of the exhaust gas and the exhaust gas is discharged to the exterior to decompose the exhaust gas mixed with the urea solution. A urea solution mixer is provided at an end of the injector and installed and pierces into the exhaust pipe. Accordingly the urea solution injected from the injector is dispersed therein. An installation unit provides for the urea solution mixer to be installed in the exhaust pipe and pierces into the exhaust pipe.

LOW NOISE OUTFLOW VALVE EXHAUST NOZZLE FOR AIRCRAFT PRESSURIZATION SYSTEMS

Exhaust nozzles for outflow valves (OFVs) that are usefully employed in aircraft pressurization systems include an upstream solid (e.g., cylindrical) wall section and a downstream solid exhaust wall section fixed to the upstream solid wall section. The downstream solid exhaust wall section includes a circumferential portion defining a series of air intake perforations. A pair of vortex generators may also be provided upstream of the series of air intake perforations. The air intake perforations and optional vortex generators thereby allow air from the ambient pressure environment to be introduced into the boundary layer of pressurized air discharged by the OFV in the interior of the perforated region of the downstream solid exhaust wall section of the nozzle thereby reducing adverse pressure gradients therewithin which in turn results in a more attached air flow and hence less perceived noise.
