Flushing dispensers for delivering a consistent consumer experience
A process for flushing a dispenser that dispenses liquids, especially perfumes, containing microcapsules. The dispenser has a first reservoir for a first composition containing microcapsules and a second reservoir for a second composition containing a volatile solvent. The dispenser also has a swirl chamber and a premix chamber. The process simultaneously pumps the first and second compositions into the premix chamber and then into the swirl chamber. The pumping of the first composition is halted while the pumping of the second composition continues, and this provides an extra volume of the volatile solvent, which flushes the dispenser to prevent clogging by the microcapsules.
COSMETIC CONTAINER
A cosmetic container is disclosed with which the dispensing amount of the content can be varied. A cosmetic container according to one aspect of the invention can include: a storage part that stores a content; a pump that is coupled to the storage part to dispense the content and includes a valve configured to move downward when pressed; a handle that is rotatably coupled to an upper portion of the storage part; a transfer member that is interlocked with the handle and configured to transfer the rotation of the handle to a valve guide; and the valve guide configured to move upward or downward along an exterior of the valve when rotated by the transfer member, where rotating the handle can adjust the relative position of the valve guide with respect to the valve to allow a varying of the dispensing amount of the content.
Fragrance dispenser
Inventive embodiments disclosed herein refer to a fragrance dispenser. The fragrance dispenser includes an enclosure having a base and a top portion, including a spray actuator. The fragrance dispenser also includes two or more bottles enclosed in the enclosure, each bottle having a top pump portion and a bottom portion. Two or more fragrances are enclosed in the two or more bottles, one fragrance per bottle. Two or more pumps, one pump per bottle are positioned within the pump portion of each of the two or more bottles. A manifold includes connector passages that connect all of the pumps to the spray actuator. At least two cams, both of which are enclosed by the enclosure are positioned adjacent the base of the enclosure, wherein the two cams together contact all of the two or more bottles, wherein movement of the cams produces movement of one or more of the pumps up or down. The fragrance dispenser also includes one or more dials for adjusting the position of each of the cams.
ETHER AMINES FOR ENHANCED SPORICIDAL PERFORMANCE
A composition and method are used to treat articles suspected of contamination with bacterial spores. The composition and method are effective against bacterial spores selected from C. diff., C. botulinum, C. sporogenes, B. cereus, and B. subtilis. The article can be a textile or a hard surface. The method includes preparing a first use solution by mixing ether amine in water and a second use solution by mixing percarboxylic acid in water; applying the first use solution to the article; and applying the second use solution to the article. An alternative method includes preparing a mixture of ether amine, percarboxylic acid, and water, and applying the mixture to the article.
Apparatus for preparing custom perfumes
An apparatus for creating custom perfumes is disclosed. The apparatus may comprise a body that may hold perfume refills and a mixing chamber connected to the perfume refills via a plurality of valves. The apparatus may be controlled by a microcontroller. The apparatus may receive custom formulas for creating custom perfumes from users. Upon receiving the formula, the apparatus may determine the quantities of perfumes that are to be added from each perfume refill to create the custom perfume. Further, a vacuum pump connected to the mixing chamber is activated. The amount of time required to extract the determined quantity of perfume from the refills to the vacuumized mixing chamber is calculated. Finally, the valves are opened for the calculated amount of time to allow the vacuum generated in the mixing chamber to extract the determined quantities of perfumes from each perfume refill to create the custom perfume.
MULTI-COMPONENT VARIABLE CONTROL FRAGRANCE DISPENSING SYSTEM APPARATUS
Apparatus and methods for variable-control fragrance dispensing. The disclosed device brings customization to the fragrance industry. Interchanging sub-containers and selecting the amounts of each sub-container allows a user to customize their scents. A mixing chamber contained to receive and mix a variable amount of each liquid from a plurality of sub-containers is described. The mixed liquid is sprayable out a spray head of the device. Selector knobs may be used to control valves which control the variable amount of each liquid dispensed.
Dual dispensing pack
A dual dispensing pack includes a dual dispensing pump head having a first pumping assembly and a second pumping assembly. The first pumping assembly is operatively coupleable to a first bottle and the second pumping assembly is operatively coupleable to a second bottle. The first pumping assembly includes a first piston, and the second pumping assembly includes a second piston. A stroke length of the first piston is the same as a stroke length of the second piston, and a volume dispensed by the first pump assembly is independently varied from a volume dispensed from the second pump assembly.
SPOUTING CONTAINER
A dispensing container capable of changing the ratio between the amounts of two kinds of contents to be dispensed, includes two container bodies, two pumps including two stems, an adjusting member configured to press the stems and to be rotatable about an axis extending in a substantially vertical direction, and a pressing head configured to, in response to a depressing operation, rotate about an axis extending in a substantially horizontal direction, to thereby depress the stems via the adjusting member. The adjusting member includes a plurality of pressing portions against which the stems are pressed, and when the adjusting member is rotated about the axis, a depressing stroke of the one of the plurality of pressing portions on the side of one of the stems becomes shorter, and a depressing stroke of the other one of the plurality of pressing portions on the side of the other stem becomes longer.
