Method for coating microstructured components
The present disclosure provides a method for the surface modification of microstructured components having a polar surface, in particular for high-pressure applications. According to the method, a microstructured component is contacted, in particular treated, with a modification reagent, wherein the surface properties of the component are modified by chemical and/or physical interaction of the component surface and of the modification reagent.

An aerosol assembly for a medicament delivery device is provided having a nozzle chip assembly including a carrier and a nozzle chip provided on the carrier, a holding structure having a fluid channel extending through the holding structure, wherein the nozzle chip assembly is configured to be mounted into the fluid channel such that fluid flowing through the fluid channel passes through the nozzle chip, and an elastic sealing member configured to be arranged with a tight fit in the fluid channel, the sealing member having a central through-opening configured to receive the nozzle chip to seal the nozzle chip towards the carrier.

The invention relates to the field of inhalation devices for liquids. In particular, the invention relates to an inhalation device having improved flow characteristics. A inhalation device for medically active liquids (F) for generation of an aerosol comprises a housing (1), inside this housing (1) a reservoir (2) for storing a liquid (F), a pumping device with a hollow cylinder (9) providing a pumping chamber (3) for the generation of a pressure inside said pumping chamber (3), wherein the pumping chamber is fluidically connected with the reservoir (2) via an inlet check valve (4) which blocks in direction of the reservoir (2), a riser pipe (5) which can be received with at least one reservoir-facing, interior end (5A) in said hollow cylinder (9), and a nozzle (6) which is connected liquid-tight to an exterior end (5B) of the riser pipe (5), wherein the volume of the pumping chamber (3) is changeable by means of relative motion of the cylinder (9) to the riser pipe (5), and is characterised in that the riser pipe (5) is immobile and firmly attached to the housing (1) and to the nozzle (6), whereas the hollow cylinder (9) is moveable relative to the housing (1) and to the nozzle (6). The invention also discloses a method for the generation of an aerosol of a medically active liquid (F) by means of an inhalation device.

INHALATION DEVICE SYSTEM
The invention provides an inhalation device system for the in-halative administration of a medically active liquid in nebulized form, the system comprising an inhalation device and an exchangeable reservoir for holding the medically active liquid, wherein the inhalation device comprises - a housing having a receiving unit, the receiving unit having a connection unit adapted to releasably and fluidically connect to a connection port of the exchangeable reservoir, the receiving unit being adapted to receive and fluidically connect to the exchangeable reservoir; - a nozzle for nebulization of the medically active liquid; and - a pumping unit arranged within the housing and adapted to be fluidically connected to the reservoir (via the connection unit of the receiving unit) and to the nozzle and being adapted to convey (pressurize, pump) the medically active liquid in a downstream direction from the reservoir to the nozzle.
Inhaler
An inhaler, preferably for insertion into a nostril, in particular a horse's nostril, with a pressure generator, which has a tensioning device for the drive, and with a tensioning mechanism for tensioning the tensioning device, whereby the tensioning mechanism has a lever gear for tensioning the tensioning device.
