SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS OF APPLYING, WITH A PRINTHEAD OF A PRINTING SYSTEM, INK TO A SUBSTRATE BASED ON A DISTANCE THE PRINTHEAD HAS MOVED
Systems, apparatuses and methods provides for technology that applies, with a printhead of a printing system, ink to a substrate as the substrate remains stationary and the printhead moves across the substrate. The technology determines, with a distance encoder, a distance that the printhead has moved, and controls application of the ink from the printhead to the substrate based on the distance.
Release agent spraying device and forming apparatus
A release agent spraying device that sprays a release agent to a die of a forming apparatus main body, the release agent spraying device includes a motor, a moving nozzle that advances and retreats in a direction intersecting a moving direction of the die and jets the release agent from a tip, and a connection mechanism that connects the motor to the moving nozzle and advances and retreats the moving nozzle by a rotation output of the motor in one direction.
Liquid discharge apparatus
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a liquid discharge unit and a contact detection unit. The liquid discharge unit has a liquid discharge port from which a liquid is discharged toward an object. The liquid discharge unit is movable along at least one of a first axis and a second axis intersecting the first axis and movable along a third axis intersecting the first axis and the second axis. The third axis is parallel to a direction in which the liquid is discharged from the liquid discharge port toward the object. The contact detection unit detects contact of the liquid discharge unit with the object. The contact detection unit is detachably attached to the liquid discharge unit.
Apparatus and methods for coating medical devices
Embodiments of the invention include apparatus and methods for coating drug coated medical devices. In an embodiment, the invention includes a coating apparatus including a coating application unit. The coating application unit can include a fluid applicator having a lengthwise axis and a width. The fluid applicator can include a tip comprising a first face across the width of the fluid applicator. The first face of the fluid applicator can be oriented at an angle of from about 15 to about 75 degrees with respect to the lengthwise axis of the fluid applicator. The fluid applicator can define a second face intersecting the first face. The coating apparatus can further include a rotation mechanism and an axial motion mechanism. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Method of manufacturing tubular member for exhaust gas treatment device, and coating film forming device
A method of manufacturing a tubular member for an exhaust gas treatment device according to at least one embodiment of the present invention, the tubular member including a tubular main body made of a metal and an insulating layer formed on at least an inner peripheral surface of the tubular main body, the insulating layer containing glass, includes steps of: forming a coating film by spraying a coating liquid for insulating layer formation onto the inner peripheral surface of the tubular main body; and firing the coating film to obtain the insulating layer. The spraying is performed while the tubular main body is rotated with a length direction thereof being a rotation axis.
SPRAYING ROBOT, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A spraying robot, a control method, and a computer readable storage medium are disclosed. The spraying robot includes a frame body, a first lifting mechanism, a lifting motor, and a spraying gun; a lifting channel is provided inside the frame body; the first lifting mechanism is provided inside the lifting channel; a first portion of the first lifting mechanism is fixedly connected to the frame body; the lifting motor is connected to the first lifting mechanism in a transmission manner, so that under the driving of the lifting motor, the first lifting mechanism moves in the lifting channel; the spraying gun is provided in a second portion of the first lifting mechanism; wherein the first portion and the second portion are provided on both sides of the first lifting mechanism.
SPRAY COATING APPLICATION SYSTEM
A spray coating application system for dispensing a liquid coating includes an elongated guide rail and a longitudinal slide plate slideably attached to the guide rail. The longitudinal slide plate is movable along a longitudinal axis of the guide rail between a first and second longitudinal positions. A transverse slide plate is attached to the longitudinal slide plate for concurrent movement therewith along the longitudinal axis of the guide rail. The transverse slide plate is moveable relative to the longitudinal slide plate in a transverse direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the guide rail. A spray nozzle is attached to the transverse slide plate for dispersing the liquid coating as a spray. A cam follower is attached to the transverse slide plate and engagable with a cam for moving the spray nozzle relative to the longitudinal slide plate between a first transverse position and a second transverse position.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DELIVERING FLUID DROPLETS ONTO AN OPEN AND STATIONARY TRAY
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for delivering droplets of fluids onto an open tray containing poultry, the tray being stationary. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: (a) a movable arm is moved over the tray in translation in a first direction, said arm supporting a first set of dispensing nozzles and a second set of dispensing nozzles, said nozzles of each set being arranged to cover the entire dimension of the tray in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; (b) initially, droplets of at least one first fluid are dispensed by spraying using the first set of dispensing nozzles; (c) and then at least one second fluid, distinct from said at least one first fluid to be sprayed, is dispensed by ejecting individual drops by means of the second set of dispensing nozzles.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS, LIQUID DISCHARGER, AND METHOD FOR DRIVING LIQUID DISCHARGE HEAD
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a carriage (1), a liquid discharge head (300, 300C, 300K, 300M, 300Y, 300S, 300W) having a discharge port (P1, P2), a first driver (92), and a second driver (93). The carriage is movable along at least one of a first axis (X) and a second axis (Y) intersecting the first axis. The liquid discharge head is held by the carriage and discharges a liquid from the discharge port toward an object (100) in a direction along a third axis (Z) intersecting the first axis and the second axis. The first driver moves the carriage along the third axis. The second driver moves the liquid discharge head along the third axis relative to the carriage.
