Steel-plate descaling device
The invention relates to a steel-plate descaling device, including several steel-plate surface descalers and several steel-plate side-surface descalers disposed along the direction of a flow line as well as a trolley rail disposed in parallel to one side of the flow line. At least one roller-changing vehicle slides back and forth on the rail. The roller-changing vehicle is provided with a roller-changing mechanism. When the roller-changing vehicle slides to a front side of the steel-plate surface descaler, the roller-changing mechanism extends into the inner part of the steel-plate surface descaler to change the roller. The oxide scale of the steel-plate surface is removed physically, having low pollution and high descaling efficiency without a blind spot, and simultaneously having a high degree of automation in replacing the descaling roller through the roller-changing vehicle, saving both time and effort.
Incremental rotary rolling mill and method
A rolling mill system for Incremental rotary shaping of an elongated workpiece is provided that includes first and second workpiece holders. A support frame has a track with the first and second workpiece holders being movably associated with the track, the workpiece holders and an associated workpiece being movable in unison along the track. A radial chuck is mounted to the frame that includes a plurality of jaws that are movable radially inwardly and outwardly. Each jaw has a tool mounted thereto that is rotatable about an axis of rotation, with the axis of rotation of each tool being oriented at a skew angle relative to the longitudinal axis of a workpiece. A source of electric current and an electrically conductive flow path are provided for flowing electrical current through a workpiece. A controller is provided that is configured to control the operation of each of the first motor, second motor and third motor, and to control the flow of current flowing through the tools to the workpiece.
Rolling stand for the rolling of rolling stock
The invention relates to a rolling stand for the rolling of metallic rolling stock. The rolling is achieved with the aid of a roll of which the two roll journals (112) are rotatably mounted in recesses (122) of chocks (120). The recesses are supplied with coolant and/or lubricant via a high-pressure inlet (124) and at least one low-pressure inlet (126). The high-pressure inlet is fed via high-pressure conduits (132) from a high-pressure pump (130). To reduce the costs for driving the high-pressure pump in relation to the prior art, the invention provides that the high-pressure pump is rotationally coupled to the roll journal via a gear mechanism in order to be driven thereby.
Direct drive for rollers, rolls and winches in the steel / non-ferrous industries
Device for handling a strip-shaped metal material in metal working, wherein the device comprises: at least one roller element, preferably a roller, a roll or a winch, which is provided for changing the cross-section, for transporting, storing, tension build-up and/or tension release in the strip-shaped metal material, and a drive, which has an electric motor, preferably a torque motor or a synchronous motor, with a stator and a rotor, wherein the device further has a frame, the rotor is connected to the roller element, by which the rotation of the rotor is transmitted to the roller element, and the stator is mounted directly on the frame and/or the rotor is connected directly to the roller element or a shaft of the roller element.

ROLLING STAND FOR THE ROLLING OF ROLLING STOCK
The invention relates to a rolling stand and a rolling mill for the rolling of preferably metallic rolling stock. Known rolling stands of this type typically have two back-up rolls (110) which are rotatably mounted by way of their roll journals in chocks which function as oil film bearings. The oil film bearings are supplied with coolant and/or lubricant by means of a low-pressure circuit which has at least one low-pressure pump (130) for conveying the coolant and/or lubricant. To reduce the costs for driving the low-pressure pump (130), there is provided according to the invention a gear mechanism which is arranged on the roll face-remote side of at least one of the chocks in order to rotationally couple the at least one low-pressure pump (130) to the back-up roll journal (120) which is rotatably mounted in the chock.
