Lower tool with friction reduction device
A lower tool for a bending machine, in particular die bending machine, includes a longitudinally extended base body, which has, on its bottom side, a tool shank for being received in a guide slot of a tool holder and optionally tool shoulders in the transverse direction, and at least one friction reduction device on the bottom side of the base body for reducing a frictional force between the bottom side and the tool holder in the event of a displacement of the lower tool in the longitudinal direction, wherein the at least one friction reduction device is configured such that a weight force of the lower tool acting on the tool holder, while applying a prestressing force in the direction of the weight force, causes a resulting normal force of the lower tool onto the tool holder that is lower relative to the weight force.
Tool storage device for a machine tool, and machine tool
The disclosure relates to a tool storage device for a machine tool having a tool storage unit which can be mounted and displaced on a guide rail of the machine tool and is further designed to receive non-mounted tools for the machine tool.
METHOD OF ARRANGING DIVIDED TOOL AND PRESS BRAKE
In a first step, a pulling operation is performed with respect to four tools by retaining, in an immovable state, a leftmost tool from among the four tools lined up on a tool mounting unit by means of a left ATC and by moving, toward the left ATC, a rightmost tool from among the four tools by means of a right ATC. In a second step, a movement of the right ATC is stopped when a torque of a motor for moving the right ATC in a left-right direction reaches a preset set value. The first step includes a choosing step of choosing, for the respective left and right ATCs, whether to perform the pulling operation in a state of being abutted against respective side surfaces of the tools or to perform the pulling operation in a state of being engaged with respective engagement holes of the tools.
TOOL FOR BENDING PRESS
A tool for a bending press is described, the tool comprising a safety element to prevent the tool from accidentally falling from a pressing table of the press.
RAPID CHANGE RADIUS PUNCH FOR PRESS BRAKE
An adapter tool having an attachment section, a body, and a connector. The body is attached to the attachment section and has a punch seat and a clamping space. The connector has a clamping plate that can rotate in relation to the body. The clamping place has an engagement member configured to engage a punch insert. The connector is configured to move between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the engagement member is a first distance from the punch seat. In the second position, at least a portion of the clamping plate resides within the clamping plate space, and the engagement member is located a second distance from the punch seat the connector to the body. The biasing member biases the connector to the first position. The first distance is less than the second distance.
Loading method for a machine tool and tool transfer device
The invention relates to a loading method for a machine tool (12), especially for a bending machine, having a tool-transfer device (1), a tool holder (17) of the machine tool (12), and a tool rack (13), wherein the tool holder (17) and the tool rack (13) are connected via a guide rail (4), and the tool-transfer device (1) has a magnetic retaining device (5). The tool-transfer device (1) is moved to a machining tool (18), which is arranged in a pick-up position (20) in a tool holder (17) or in a tool rack (13). The machining tool (18) is picked up and retained by means of a magnetic retaining device (5) of the tool-transfer device (1) and moved along the guide track (4) to a deposition position (21). There the machining tool (18) is deposited by deactivation of the magnetic retaining force (22). The magnetic retaining device (5) has an electromagnet (6) having an electronic activating device (7) wherein, upon deactivation of the magnetic retaining force (22), a demagnetization is performed by the activating device (7).
Press brake system
A press brake assembly including a crane system and press brake machine for processing a workpiece. The crane system having a workpiece handling mechanism configured to pick and store the workpiece. The crane system allows the crane to move along a plane via longitudinal and lateral rails. The crane also includes multiple swivel points to allow mobility to handle workpieces efficiently. The control system of the press brake machine may control the crane, allowing a single control system to control the press brake assembly.
METAL SHEET BENDING MACHINE
A bending machine for metal sheets includes a punch assembly having an upper tool-holding crosspiece that supports a set of upper bending tools with respective supporting pins and is provided with a guiding groove that is open for receiving the set of upper bending tools. The guiding groove has a lateral supporting groove that receives and supports the supporting pins and maintains the set of upper bending tools slidably coupled to the upper tool-holding crosspiece. The supporting groove has a single second lower opening to allow disengaging/engaging of the supporting pins from/with the supporting groove to remove/insert from/into the upper tool-holding crosspiece at the same time all the upper bending tools. The punch assembly has a single closing element connected to the upper tool-holding crosspiece that is linearly movable between closed and open positions to close and open the second lower opening.
AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER AND TOOL CHANGE METHOD
An automatic tool changer includes first and second tool change units that is driven respectively by a pair of servo motors and move along an arrangement direction of a plurality of tools installed on a tool installation unit, a torque detection unit that detects a torque of each of the pair of servo motors, and a control device that controls operations of the first and second tool change units. The control device fixes the first tool change unit at a reference position, and moves the second tool change unit toward the first tool change unit. The control device determines, based on a torque change of each servo motor, that a plurality of upper tools are brought together at the first tool change unit as a result of a movement of the second tool change unit.
Bending tool and gripping device for manipulating the bending tool
The invention concerns a bending tool (6) with an actuating element (19) accessible outside the tool receptacle, with coupled to it a locking element (20) with a locking catch (21) for securing the bending tool (6) in the tool receptacle. The first end portion (32) of the actuating element (19) has an actuating face (33) arranged on the end side and the second end portion (34) of the actuating element (19) has an actuating recess (35). The invention further concerns a gripping device (14) for manipulating a bending tool (6), comprising a first gripping arm (59) and a second gripping arm (60) displaceable relative to the first gripping arm (59) in the clamping direction (64), said gripping arms (59) being formed to engage in a gripping groove (23, 24) of the bending tool (6) and to clamp the bending tool (6). Also formed is an unlocking member (65) for actuating an actuating element (19) of the bending tool (6), said unlocking member (65) being longitudinally displaceable normally to the clamping direction (64) relative to the gripping arms (59, 60).
