The tubing bender includes a portable housing including a handle portion, a bender shoe operably coupled to the portable housing, the bender shoe defining an arcuate channel configured to restrain a length of tubing along a prescribed arc during bending operations, a guide gear fixedly coupled to the bender shoe, and a guide frame pivotably coupled to the bender shoe, the guide frame including a motor, a driven gear and a guide member, the motor configured to drive the driven gear along the guide gear to pivot the guide frame relative to the bender shoe, so as to move the guide member during bending operations to guide the length of tubing along the arcuate channel of the bender shoe.

HAND-HELD CONDUIT BENDER WITH MULTIPLE BENDING CHANNELS

A hand-held conduit bending tool includes an elongated handle and a bender head disposed on the handle. The bender head comprising a body portion having at least one curved channel therein. In an embodiment, the channel is elliptical in cross-section. A handle mount is at a rear end of the body portion and rearward of the hook portion and a foot pedal is formed. In some embodiments, two channels are provided to accommodate two differently sized conduits. Markings are provided to enable use of the tool in a head-down position and in a head-up position.

Instrument for use in bending surgical devices

A system for bending a surgical device is disclosed in which the system may include a bending apparatus having a housing with a series of posts received therein. In some embodiments, one of the series of posts may be selectively movable within an elongate slot in the housing, while another of the series of posts may be circumferentially movable. Movement of the circumferentially movable post may serve to bend a surgical device about at least one of the other remaining posts. A tool may also be provided with the system for interacting with a lever and causing the circumferentially movable post to move circumferentially. An alternate apparatus for bending a surgical device is also disclosed, as are methods of bending a surgical device using the aforementioned system.
