INJECTION DEVICE OF LIGHT METAL INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
An injection device of a light metal injection molding machine of the disclosure includes: a melting cylinder that heats and melts a billet pushed along a cylinder hole and stores molten metal; an injection cylinder that injects, by an inserted plunger, the molten metal supplied by free fall due to the own weight from the melting cylinder through a communication path that can be opened and closed; and a molten metal pot in which a molten metal supply/discharge port connected to the melting cylinder is opened at a location in the melting cylinder that does not face an opening of the communication path on the melting cylinder side, and molten metal in an amount in excess of a capacity that can be stored in the melting cylinder is stored.
Plunger System and Casting Method for a Die Casting Machine
A casting plunger system for a die casting machine includes a stationary system part and a system part which moves relative to the stationary system part in a respective casting cycle for the introduction of melt material into a casting mould. The moved system part has a plunger, a plunger rod and a rod drive unit, and is configured to decelerate at the end of a mould filling phase of the casting cycle under the effect of pressure on the melt material. A casting method for a die casting machine is provided with such a plunger system. The moved system part has a mass which can be adjusted variably between different casting cycles, and/or the moved system part consists of a moved main system part and an additional mass unit which is arranged so as to be movable relative to the main system part and is configured to decelerate, at the end of the mould fill phase of the casting cycle, later by a predefined delay time than the main system part.

Injection molding system for the injection molding of amorphous metals
One aspect relates to an injection molding system for the injection molding of amorphous metals, an injection molding unit for the injection molding of amorphous metals and an injection molding process for amorphous metals. The injection molding system includes a channel for feeding a molten metal and a slider unit including a slider and a pressure system. The slider is located between the channel and at least one injection molding cavity and is movable between a rest position and an injection position. In the rest position, the slider blocks the access of the molten metal to the injection molding cavity and in the injection position it allows the molten metal to access the injection molding cavity. The pressure system holds the slider in the rest position and allows the slider to move to the injection position when a minimum pressure is exceeded.
DIE CASTING MACHINE AND DIE CASTING METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a die casting machine and a die casting method. The die casting machine used in cooperation with a mold (or die) having a die cavity configured to receive molten liquid and includes a plurality of injection mechanisms connected to the mold (or die). Each injection mechanism is provided with an injecting channel through which molten liquid is injected into the die cavity. The plurality of injecting channels are in connection with different positions of the die cavity.

Casting of metals
A method for casting metals under pressure by a cold-chamber method includes placing a bolt of the metal to be cast in one of at least two casting chambers and selecting a casting chamber from the at least two casting chambers and feeding and introducing the selected casting chamber into a diecasting machine, the selected casting chamber having one outlet opening. The selecting and feeding of the casting chambers is carried out alternately from the at least two casting chambers. The method further includes heating the bolt by means of induction. Melting of the bolt in the selected casting chamber is carried out after the feeding and introducing of the selected casting chamber into the diecasting machine but before an opening of the outlet opening of the selected casting chamber in order to fill the cavities is completed.
