ALUMINUM CASTING METHOD AND MOLD
An aluminum casting method is for pouring an aluminum molten metal (12) pumped up by an electromagnetic pump (20) into a die (50). A thickness of a powder demolding agent applied to the die (50) is set to be thinner than that of a demolding agent for a gravity die casting. A temperature of the die immediately before the molten metal is poured is controlled so as to fall within a range that is between 110° C. to 250° C. A temperature of the molten metal when poured is controlled to be a value obtained by adding 20° C. to 55° C. to a liquidus-line temperature of the aluminum.
Three-Plate Die Casting Mold Having a Sprue System and Improved Sprue Separation, and Die Casting Method
A three-plate die casting mold for producing a metal die-cast part by die casting a molten metal includes a first, second, and third mold part, where the third mold part is disposed between the first and second mold parts. Molten metal is feedable to a die cavity through a sprue system where the sprue system has a plurality of feed channels that are disposed in the third mold part and open into the die cavity. The plurality of feed channels have a respective tapering at a die cavity-side end where the respective tapering locally decreases a channel cross section such that a predetermined breaking point is generated during a die casting operation which allows a defined separation of the metal die-cast part from a sprue created in the sprue system when the three-plate die casting mold is being opened.

Disclosed are a die-casting die, a die-casting device and an ultra-high speed die-casting method. The die-casting die comprises a die body, the die body is arranged with a feed port, a pouring potion and a cavity portion, the pouring potion is arranged with a pouring runner communicating to the feed port, and the cavity portion is arranged with a molding cavity; the die body is arranged with a gate portion between the cavity portion and the pouring potion, the gate portion is arranged with an ingate runner communicating the molding cavity and the pouring runner, the ingate runner is a plurality of ingate runners, and each ingate runner is arranged in sequence in the width direction of a side of the gate portion facing the molding cavity; a communicating position between the ingate runner and the molding cavity is an ingate.

A number of variations may include at least one mold portion that may define a first cavity, a circular gating system, and at least one sprue. The circular gating system may surround the first cavity and define a continuous in-gate from the circular gating to the first cavity. The at least one sprue and at least one vent may be in fluid communication with the circular gating system and the first cavity.
ULTRASOUND ASSISTED SHOT CHAMBER FOR DIE CASTING APPLICATIONS
A method and apparatus for producing semi-solid material castings from its liquid state in a shot chamber of a die casting machine where the liquid material is poured into a shot chamber and rapidly cooled from its liquid state to temperatures below its liquidus. High-intensity ultrasonic vibration is coupled to the plunger, shot plate, or sprue-spreader while the cast material is injected by the plunger to fill the die cavity. The combined action of rapid cooling from the shot chamber, vigorous pushing by the plunger, and radiation of ultrasonic vibration on the cast material in the shot chamber directly turns the initial liquid material directly into a semi-solid slurry by breaking up dendrites and making these dendritic fragments globular. The slurry is then injected into the die cavity to form a casting.
Casting method
A casting method includes loading molten metal into a cavity from a sleeve, and sending a gas into the cavity from the outside of the cavity, except the sleeve, to pressurize a gas in the cavity and to increase the pressure value of the gas in the cavity to the atmospheric pressure or higher.
DIE CASTING MACHINE AND DIE CASTING METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a die casting machine and a die casting method. The die casting machine used in cooperation with a mold (or die) having a die cavity configured to receive molten liquid and includes a plurality of injection mechanisms connected to the mold (or die). Each injection mechanism is provided with an injecting channel through which molten liquid is injected into the die cavity. The plurality of injecting channels are in connection with different positions of the die cavity.
Diecasting die system
The invention relates to a diecasting method and a diecasting nozzle system (10) for use in a hot-chamber system (1) for the diecasting of metal melt (4), comprising a hot-chamber diecasting machine (2) with a casting vessel (3) and a melt distributor (20), which distributes the melt (4) from a machine nozzle (7) among uniformly heated diecasting nozzles (40). Arranged between a sprue region (42) of the diecasting nozzles (40) and the casting vessel (3) is at least one nonreturn valve (48), which prevents the melt (4) from flowing back from the sprue region (42) in the direction of the casting vessel (3). According to the invention, the nonreturn valve (48) is respectively arranged between the sprue region (42) of at least the upper diecasting nozzles (40) and a final branch of melt runners (22) in the melt distributor (20) to each of the diecasting nozzles (40).
Three-Plate Pressure Die Casting Mold Having Improved Sprue Separation, and Method for Pressure Die Casting (II)
A three-plate pressure die casting mold for producing at least one metallic die casting part by die casting a metal melt, includes first, second and third mold parts and at least one mold cavity as well as a sprue system. In the third mold part there is at least one spring-loaded pressure element which, when opening the die casting mold, presses the sprue produced in the sprue system against the first mold part, whereby the sprue is retained and tears off from the die casting part in a defined manner. A method for pressure die casting using the three-plate pressure die casting mold is disclosed.
APPARATUS FOR CREATING AT LEAST ONE METAL COMPONENT AND METHOD THEREFOR
Method and apparatus for creating at least one metal component by injecting flowable metal casting material into at least one cavity of a multi-part casting mold. Arranged successively downstream, apparatus includes a conveyor device for the flowable metal material, a distributor unit and the mold. The distributor unit includes an inlet: channel connected to the conveyor device, and multiple outlet channels each having an outlet nozzle, such that casting material fed under pressure via the distributor inlet channel is injectable via the outlet nozzles into the at least one cavity of the mold to simultaneously fill the at least one cavity with casting material via the outlet nozzles. To produce the component with high process reliability in high quality, at least one of the outlet channels is connected to the mold in a sliding manner to enable relative movement between the outlet nozzle of the outlet channel and the mold.
